Dagmar snaps a photo, and the camera spits out a chimerical print.

"Okay, so that's how it works? Wonderful"

Actually, she takes two!

"Hey I wasn't.. " The second one caught her with her mouth open and eyes lit up with interest

and one index finger on her free hand raised.

Frank's expression is behind his beard.... but his eyes are warm.

"I think you look okay." She offers them out to the two Kings.

Siv takes one "Oh lord, I look like I'm flagging down a cab for us" Siv says with a blush at the second

Frank puffs amusement.

"Well, you guys can fight over who keeps which."

"But this way you each get one, yeah?"

"Yeah, thanks, Dagmar" now it's Dagmar who gets a hug "You're the best. Let me know if I can take a picture of you and your fam sometime. Though Tove might fuss at how big she's getting." Then she turns to her father "Which one do you want dad?"

"Oh yeah, she might... well, I mean, birthday is tuesday..."

"The second one." He answers Siv. "And a family photo might be nice. In a few months, Dagmar."

Jaw jut.

"I want one before."

"That's right" She says "Tuesday is your birthday... I would be happy to drop by and drop off my gift, and hold the camera for you. Get you that shot... Tove does not look as bad as she thinks she does"

Frank nods. "Good point, Dagmar."

"We could take it from, like, here up?" She holds a hand at her ribcage.

A look at her da "And you want the second one? You sure? My mouth is open"

Frank nods gravely. "It will help me recognize you."

"Well, all right I..." A blink "HEeey ...ddaaaaaaad" Oh that 1 syllable word turned into 3 or more

His beard moves.

Dag grins.

"Oh fine, have fun at my expense" A nudge of her father and poke at Dagmar but she smiles "now... tell me what I've missed while I've been gone? good easter here?"

"Mostly quiet..."

"Like, Adam drama." Eyeroll.

"Eventful." Frank rumbles. Then gives Dagmar an eyebrow. "Different viewpoints, perhaps."

"Ah, there it is."

"Adam's gotten hiself into trouble? I hope he's not hurt but at the same time can't say I'm surprised . Tell me about the eventful"

Grunt.

Frank looks at Dagmar.

"I still don't speak grunt well" Siv says

"I'll get you a book and a tape?" her father offers helpfully.

A mutter in Norwegian

"Do I really need to narrate Adam drama?"

"Not if it's gonna to make you feel cranky" Siv says

"If you want Siv to know." Frank rumbles. "I suspect my view is limited."

"If Siv wants to know." A shrug.

"Ain't my business."

"Siv, maybe we can talk about that part another time."

"Another time" she nods

"The kids had a good time. Lots of egg hunting."

"OH, and have you ever peep jousted?"

"Glad they had.. what on Earth is peep jousting?"

"You microwave them after stickin, like, wooden skewers in them like lances... they puff way up and STAB each other..."

She snerks "Okay. How did I not know this was a thing?"

"Okay, do we have any left over peeps? this is one joust I might win"

"One way to find out - kitchen raid!"

"Kitchen raid! Ahoy!" And off Siv and Dagmar go. Frank can be the audience to the great Peep joust
