Sylvi tried to do some fancy decorations, using melted wax.

Jack Flap was just excited... and used a LOT of green

Brekke has made two of her own...Gwydion green and gold.

Lucjan &  Lauge got competitive...and kind of made a mess the first egg.

Right now, she's trying for some kind of ombre - blue, bluer, darkest blue...

Lily sighs ,and adorns her gray egg in small tear drop patterns.

Lydia likes putting flower patterns

Margalita is in a corner tinkering with plastic and metal trying to BUILD a better egg

Malcolm the Eshu is rattling on about Easters of yesterday when he didn't know Fae were a thing

Kerri claps hands three times lightly, to get their attention. "Now, you've all prepared at least two eggs. Each of you choose one egg to be your champion, and put it over there..." she indicates a set up egg cups with little signs "...for the great egg fight challenge tomorrow!"

She adds, "Don't worry, if you don't want to risk your egg in the competition, you don't have to, but choose one to put on display anyway."

"egg fight?"

Kerri grins. "Egg fight," she says with a nod. "And no, it doesn't involve throwing them."

Margalita beams "Got mine done"

The nocker girl sets her flickering plastic and metal egg down

"Well... okay..." She ponders, then picks a blue-and-green-and-yellow one.

"Oh, my...Margalita, that's lovely! However...the metal might give it an unfair advantage in the competition tomorrow. Do you want to do a regular one for that?"

"Furk, I worked hard on this... and it's advantage is something I made, isnt' that okay? See, I give the right command word and explodes, taking all the other eggs out" Excited eyes

Lucjan blinks "I don't think she's joking"

"COOOL" Malcolm says

"I think....that that would serve best as its own demonstration event."

"Oh.." She puffs up "Okay. I'll make a regular one too"

"Maybe it could be a grand finale after the competition."

"Hey," Sylvi says, "Margalita, can you come up with a better way to dye the egg? It keeps falling out of this metal holder thing."

"We don't want to explode Lily's, though..."

"Sure" The nocker says to Sylvi "Gimme a bit and..yeah"

Lily sighs "You can blow it up if you want to..." She whispers

Lydia says "She's sad because her parents are ignoring her"

Lily shoots the Satyr kinian a withering look

Frank is quietly, unobtrusively, keeping things neat, settling the troll siblings out as needed, and generally supporting Kerri.

The troll twins do compete but they also heed the Mountain

"Lily?" Kerri asks. "Is that true?"

"it matters not" the whispering girl says "for I am sluagh, and we should not be too gregarious. A terrible affliction that can hinder even our best"

Despite her words, Kerri gets the feeling that was a big ole 'yes'

Frank shares a glances with Kerri.

"I just.. I mean we should let it turn stinky. But..." A frown.

Kerri catches the look from Frank. She definitely looks concerned. "Lily, let me see the egg you made..." Kerri crouches by her.

It is gray, with tear drop designs.

She offers it up.

It really is a miserable looking egg, not badly painted, but rather sadly painted

Kerri looks at it, and her expression goes melancholy. "Ohh...it makes me think of reading a sad book on a rainy day."

Said with admiration.

"thanks, mom would read to me..." A sigh

Connor pats Lily on the arm. “It’s the most cheeringest egg I ever did see. Do you want to read with me? The horses listen good, too..”

Kerri nods. "She hasn't been reading to you lately?" She keeps her voice low.

Lily smiles weakly at Connor "maybe later, you are so kind, connor. I want you stuffed when you pass away for you do cheer me so."

His own egg, he insisted on trying to do ALL the colors. This ended up more a mottled brownish than the rainbow he expected, but he proclaims it lovely none the less. “ Then I’ll be stuffed like Buddy’s buddies. A Buddy’s Buddy Buddy.”

then she nods to Kerri, "not for several days, hearth. she and father are up to thinks"
