Nadeen speaks to Eden "It's all going rather well, don't you think?"

"You risk angering the thundergods," Eden says

"Eden, this was your idea," She reminds

"Can't prove that in a quart of coleslaw" The snake girl protests

"yes, well, we shall see... for our next target..." The Sidhe eyes a chair, "I suggest we think BIGGER."

"Yesss master...." Eden lurches along.

"Stop that," The Varich says

"But you like it," Eden points out.

"Doesn't make it any less tacky," The Baroness Nadeen declares

And the two go to plot quietly.

Brekke seeks out Dagmar, starting first at the stables.

Always a good plan - indeed, post Firnost, she went to jousting!

Brekke does not interrupt jousting! Instead, she stands at the fence and watches with a critical eye.

Dagmar is working on Torin's suggestion - to wait until the last second to really lock on the target.

It goes against her instincts - she WANTS to focus and drive down.

An eyebrow at what at first looks sloppy...

There is some tension there.

Of course, the question is whether it works.

It works... ish?

It is a style more suited to Siv, or perhaps the eshu that visited.

Brekke notes this, and she waits for Dagmar to notice her.

Finally, she leads Star away from the popinjay and dismounts - allowing the mare to jog free for a bit. She doesn't notice Brekke until after her helmet is off. "Oh! Chief!"

Star seems to have been won over into trying this jousting thing. She is amazing, after all

"Hello, Dame. You are progressing well in the joust."

That, and one practice of being on the sidelines while Stormwake showed off....

"As is Star," she adds, with a respectful nod to the steed in question.

"Yeah, you think?" She grins. "I dunno, I'm trying to... like.. not be so predictable, but it's really hard."

"Star's the best!"

"Ah, was that the goal?" She nods thoughtfully. "It took me some time to learn to feint an attack."

"Well, like, if they know where you are going they'll just dodge, right?"

"I think?"

"They may. If they are more experienced, they will. Newer jousters may not yet be ready to do so. I would say...wait a month before trying that. Practice direct strikes, first."

"Dame, I have a task I would like you to undertake."

She nods. "Okay, I can wait..." She rubs the back of her neck. "Yeah? What do you need?"

"It is about your dreamer, May."

"Ohhhh..."

"Did she make another big chimera?"

"The last one I know of was very large, and very bored. An outcry from quarantine, I believe."

"Yeah. Eden called and me and Dad took care of it."

"Um. It sort of smashed a car."

"Mm. A mortal will excuse it on another driver, or a tree branch. Do not be concerned. But I have another idea about her. Her ability to dream is very strong...but it is undirected, and dangerous."

"I'd been working on it, but now.. like.. I dont' get to SEE her..."

"Mm. I know that Sylvi does things with the computer...? Movies...? She is able to speak with others that way. Perhaps you could reach out to May in a similar manner."

"Facetime? Maybe."

"However, I suggest that you try to direct her energies to some form of craft or art. Something that can contain the glamour she produces, and become dross."

"This is not easily done...but it may help direct the glamour to be less harmful."

"Oh... hunh. That's an idea."

"Do you know if she pursues an art already?"
