Dirk ponders , scratches his chin, "Maybe.. I mean, he sounded really hurt folks didn't trust how we were looking out for them so..."

"That is likely true. But forcing them here against their will is no benefit to either them or us."

Clack says "Look, I'm an Unseelie who in his wilder days did some stupid things and then paid my dues. Yeah, but jumpy about being around Falcons and Liams and what not who are the most seelie houses there are." a cough "So.. if it's okay? I'd be grateful for a bit of dross so I dont have to break int omy dreamer's house and hit him up with mutaual talk of design plans"

A sigh. "I cannot think your Dreamer would be sad for the inspiration at this time, but I also would not have you push him beyond what is safe. Peacekeeper, did the Mountain give you dross to distribute, as you requested?"

"Oh yeah, already gave him some" A nod

"And is the amount adequate for your needs now, Clack?"

"Well, yeah ,I can stretch it out a week" he nods "After that, furk, don't know. Your Peacemaker guy here can visit if he's not going to strong arm me for papers citizen"

"you callin the Chief a nazi?" Dirk growls at the grump and rolls a sleeve up visibly

"Dirk. Enough." She puts out a hand to stop him.

Dirk stops

"Clack, I will see that Peacekeeper Dirk support our people appropriately. However, if you are in need, do not hesitate to come to the Lodge."

"Yeah sure... and might I suggest oh I don't know, zoloft or something in the Cap's milk?" A breath the old man cluthes a t his chest

"Neighbor, the Peacekeeper is doing important work. I support him..." She frowns. "Are you well?"

"Just a bit spooked...been a stressful day" Clack says "Fine fine. My apologies to all and thank you for the invitation"

"You...are certain?" (Any sense that he was lying about being fine?)

"I got a heart condition but it seems fine" He says ..true ish?

She looks at him a moment more. "Please...come inside and have food and drink before you return home. The Hearth with scold me otherwise," she says in a confidential tone. Dagmar would get the ping at the mild untruth.

"Oh furk..fine but just to get it out of the way, I don't even LIKE most Seelie" He says and goes in

Dirk nods "Me neither. Every Seelie I know sucks" And the Gwydars get jarred hard

"Hmph." Dagmar goes to brush down Star and get her settled for the night.

An eyebrow at Dirk, then she says to Clack, "I admit, there are some seelie that I am not fond of, either." She ushers him to take a seat near the balefire. "Excuse me." She goes into the kitchen to fetch some food and some cider for him.

Jack Flap says to Dagmar with a whisper "Dirk scares me sometimes."

"Redcaps are good at being scary."

Clack may grumble, but he's a good if skittish guest

He gets good food. In fact, Kerri brings it out for him, and while Brekke may be The Intimidating Gwydion....Kerri has just enough of a grasp of her unseelie side that maybe she makes him feel more comfortable as she provides some pastries.

"But you're not scared, you're almost as brave as the Chief" Jack tells Dagmar

"Well, trolls get scared, but they get more stubborn. We're part rock, y'know."

Clack does relax a little and talks a bit about setting up buildings etc.

"So you don't see the scared as often on the outside."

And as he chats with Kerri, Brekke revises expectations with Dirk.

As Kerri wrangles nocker grump

Jack Flash and Dagmar talk as they help put the stable in order "Your outsides are really brave looking"

"With bad people, you don't want to let them know you're hurt or scared."

"It's hard" he admits "Hard not to show. "

"Yeah, it is."

A pause. "It helps, if there are people you can let see."

A nod "Like the folks here at the lodge who care" He says, then "uhm.. gratulations bytheway"

"Yeah, like the folks here. Kerri's safe. So's Olgar, even if his face is scary."

Blush. "Yeah."

"See, that was a blush, but it's okay to do it in front of me because I support you... also, you could like throw me in the air and I'd nnnnneeever come down... but mostly because of trust" He says "I think it's great yhou got fam. I'm still looking for mine, but I'm told when Iget em I can still stay here"

"Well..." Brow furrow. "I was smaller than you when I was put in the system."

"The system blows" he says

She chews on her lip. "My mom... she wasn't very good at being a mom. She couldn't... she..."

"Well, to escape thing, she'd take stuff. Go off in her own head, nod off to sleep. Sometimes, I thought she might have died... but it was just, y'know, the junk."

The little boy takes her hand "I know how ..how it is kinda. But.. hyou know, Tove is so much better..."

"Tove...." A sigh.

"I love Tove a lot. And I'm real lucky, with her and Jaymes."
