Dirk stomps in, "Anybody here?" The Redcap bellows

Frank opens his bedroom door and starts down the stairs. "Yes, Dirk?"

Dirk looks up "I need dross or enchanted tokens"

It's flat out said. Others might mistake it as adding 'or else' but no, that's just the way redcaps Talk and Dirk seems matter of fact about it

An eyebrow. "May I ask why?"

"Oh yeah that," He says "Most dreamers are mortal, the social distancing and shit is making it hard for folks to muse their dreamers... so they're low and glamour and not all of em live near the lodge so they're all ..." he mimics whining "Oh dirk, I'm fading... but I can't stay at the lodge all the time I have a job.. oh Dirk, you're a peacemaker, can we do something' and 'ooh but I WANT to ravage, it's quick' and I'm like fuck that noise.... if I can't they can't. So I told some folks I'd see if I could just bring glamour to them and stop their damn whining"

Frank nods. "Of course. One moment, please." He goes back upstairs.

The Cap basks in the fire for a moment.

Frank returns with a small casket. "I would like to come with you. You will distribute, but I want to know who needs assistance, and what sort."

"uh.. Mountain, you're gonna make them nervous" he scratches his head "I mean, if yo udont' trust me.. I get that. I'm a freaking cap. But if you want to really get to know them.. who they are and stuff, it's gonna make some of them jumpy like a Liam noble is throwing weight around"

"Your call" he says

Frank frowns, thinking... then.... "These Fae in need.... they are Unseelie?"

"Yeah.. seelie ones tend to just walk on in" He says "Well, some are seelie but just busy" He shrugs

Frank exhales. "Well. I understand. Take Olgar."

Dirk looks at him, "You want me ot take you to the folks who probably won't mind?"

"Would they mind Olgar?"

A shrug "I don't know, that face of his spooks folks. Your house spooks others. People are wimps, pussies and mamaboys sometimes"

Frank exhales. "Kerri?"

Connor peeks his head out. Silent, but listening in.

"Hearth's too busy to go around escorting me don'tcha think? " Dirk sighs "You don't trust me with the dross, do you?"

"No, Dirk, it is not that." He hands the small casket over. "We have Sally Mae to help, and Kerri's squire, if she takes a short outing. Please take her around when she is available. I think she is out sourcing supplies right now."

"I guess I'm confused on why you don't want me to go alone"

"It isn't that, Dirk. I want to know who is in need so we can be sure to focus and help them. If the Unseelie here are in dire straights, they need to know the Lodge is here for them."

"Sylvi and Dagmar represent Rivervale and aren't scary. But they have to stay here to play with me. You can only have ONE of them."

A voice pipes up from where Connor is flopped over the side of a too-large armchair. It practically swallows him.

"OH! SHit, why didn't you say so" Dirk says "you trolls always forget who you got in your corner. You want someone bullied, or hurt, you come to ME. You want to learn what others are up to? Get Symon on it. If it got him two hours away from Anne Marie's fussing he'd probably be grateful. He could learn all hyou need to know and none of this pussying footing gossip up..."

Frank looks around. "Connor." He nods.

The Redcap's glare passes over the pup, and he snorts, then shrugs

Connor ducks to avoid the glare as though it carried laser beams, but pops back up after it passes.

"Anyway, you should get Symon to help more often when it comes to learning stuff, it's what he does. He's good at it" Then a look around, "Dont' tell him I said so though. He's give me that smirk that makes me want to shove him in a locker...which never last anyway little wimp just oozes out after I do"

"And, the lockers are at the school, which is closed." Frank points out matter of factly.

"Oh, I tore one out and took it home" he says as if to explain

Connor stifles a giggle at this.

Frank gives Dirk a grave look.

"Sokay" Dirk says "I'm not stoopid" A wink "It wasn't my locker"

The Mountain sighs.

"More than just information, Dirk. I want those ... uncomfortable coming here to know they are welcome."

"The Lodge must serve all Fae."

Dirk nods, slowly, then as if brightening "I get it. yes sir. I'll see to it"

Dirk has the cask in his hands. "I would feel more comfortable if someone was with you but... you have served the Lodge well. If you are sure........?" Frank, clearly, isn't.

"I'm sure, but if I think I need it I'll ask someone along" he says

Frank (somewhat reluctantly) nods and steps back. "On your way, then, Peacekeeper."

"ROCK ON" and off he goes

Frank observes the going....

He glances at Connor.

A single wag of his tail.

Frank's beard moves.

"You are well?"

He flows down the side of the armchair, melting bonelessly onto a floor heap that would be the envy of a sluagh, "I thought quarry-teens meant they would stay around. But no one is here, and I'm not sure if I'm 'apposed to go to the Farm neither because maybe I could carry germs and they're full of babies."
