"Well, I'm sidhe" the Squire says "But you're both welcome"

As Frank and Jack head out, Jack says "Brogan's nice, but kinda stiff"

"Sidhe." A grunt.

A nod "Never met many" he says and they come to the truck "Wow. It looks big enough to live in"

"It is." He unlocks and lets the boy climb in.

Climb is the right word, it's up there, but as he appears to have springs in him somewhere, no problemo

Frank follows and lets him explore.

He doesn't touch anything that looks like a lever or a button, but he looks tempted. Some things that aren't in a car baffle him "is that a pull rope for something?"

"The horn. I can't blow it now, though. " apologetically.

"Oh" dissappointed "Cuz it would wake the Chief?"

"Yes, and, it's an emergency signal."

"OH!" His eyes widen "So it's like a police siren? If I ever get in trouble I get in this and pull that and you'll know theres a danger!"

Frank nods. "Yes."

He nods as it, "Like the movie with the great torches on the mountain, the signal.. gondor calls for aid"

"And the Rohan king was like Gondor calls for aid? Tehyr'e getting some fuck.." He catches himself "Fudging Aid! And they all got on their horses and kicked orc butt"

A nod. "Very much like that, yes."

"Whoa. Well, don't worry. I won't use it unless there's an emergency or stuff because ..well, being a coward I don't WANT a war here. It's .. it's too nice"

Frank nods. "We work hard to keep it nice. Now you are part of that work too."

He puffs up "Thanks. "

"The only time I ever was part of a work was when I helped hurt people. " A shudder "You guys wouldn't do that right?"

"No." Gently. "You don't have to hurt anyone here. We don't want anyone hurt."

"Sometimes, Jack, people bring the fight to us, and we defend ourselves, but it is not our goal to start battles. Just to end them."

A nod and he looks at Frank, "Yes, sir. I'll remember"

"Good." Frank shows him the interior, which seems larger than the exterior.

"Is this a normal truck? Becausse.." The boy squints as he kens

"It feels magic?"

There isn't a -lot-, really, but a large (LARGE) double-bunk, some storage, and a space that can be a seat/desk behind the driver and passenger seats.

"She seems to have grown some over the years, yes."

"I have never seen a magic truck before in all my life, not any kind, not a pick up, not even a tonka"

Said as if he had, in his many years, seen it all

"She's special. I've had her a long time." He puts a hand on the paneling of the wall.

"She was home for me. Then became my second home when I moved here."

"This is so much better than under a bridge," Jack says

"Especially for a troll." Frank agrees.

He laughs 'Yeah because goats are jerks sometimes"

Frank chuckles. "Not all Goats." He wiggles Jack's little horns.

Well, his horns are really out yet, but his forehead has bumps that can be tapped, and he laughs again "Nah not all. I hope they bud soon" meaning the horns "But it's oaky if they don't yet."

"All in good time." the grump assures him.

"That's what i figured. Connor needs another chldling.. though he has Lily... but "he whispers 'She's scary. She sticks to walls"

"Oh,m and Lydia, but she's always telling me I'm wrong"" A roll of his eyes

"Falco's okay though, and the troll twins are cool.. I can out run em"

Frank nods. "Strength in diversity."

"Yeah? I'm.. diversing? Cool. THough you gots lots of other satyrs now"

A nod. "Recently."

"They're kind of uhm.. loud?"

A chuckle. "They can be, sure. Does that bother you?"

"I guess I'm loud too, but they use the pan gift and think it's nothing big..but it can make others weak and when I try to explain that they say 'no no' but I SAW it so I don't know it's like they're louder than I am so I can't be heard even when they're listening?"

A gentle sigh. "Your experiences with the Gift are different from theirs, hm?"

"Yeah, but they happened, you know?"

He nods. "I believe you." He affirms. "When you have used the Gift of Pan in the past, others took advantage of its effect to hurt people."
