"Spicy chocolate?" Nadeen makes a face

"Not everything is hot. But maybe brownies or cookies?"

"That would be nice. Thank you"

"Vali's up on it. Kids are in" Siv updates

"She's gonna want to experiment with her super-cold dessert, anyways."

"Thanks Siv!"

"Oh right' Nadeen says then sighs "I feel like such a fool getting caught off guard by that banality"

"Well, it's not like they wear a sign?"

"And what kind of awful person goes attacking strangers, anyways?"

"MOre common than you think" Siv sighs "But normally it's an internet bit right?"

Nadeen nods "Well, I'll write down her description. I Remember that." ANd she does, hair, eye color, height

"You ever see her before today?"

"No, never" she says

"That could be good" Siv says "Maybe she's passing through"

"Unless she passes on to Teaneck or Falken..."

A sigh "Calling Baron K, sides, he might have ways of spying." Siv says

Nadeen looks up, then whispers to Dagmar 'How long till you think she worries about Jonas?"

"Once she gets through evvvveeerrryyyonnnneeee else."

"Ooo, you might be right. Let's watch" Nadeen says

Siv reads off the descritpion to the baron, "Glad to help sir. " Then says "Let's see.. the family of house builders..." A call

Then the count's hold is warned.

and some folks are getting the word out from Anne Marie by then.

Siv hangs up, "Okay, every changeling in the barony knows."

"Three...two..." Nadeen mutters and counts

"I'm going to get hot coco for myself, you want some Dagmar? I can get the little marsh..." A blurt "Jonas!"

And she rushes into a flurry of texting forgetting about coco

Nadeen smiles "I should feel bad for finding that funny, but I don't."

"It's pretty funny."

"But cocoa does sound good..."

"I'll get it, she's distracted," Nadeen says and rises

Yup. Siv is now calling. Not just texting, calling.

"Jonas? Why didn't you respond? What do you mean it was only a few minutes ago? Are you okay?!" Siv paces as she talks

And Nadeen comes out with coco for Siv who takes it distractedly, and then one with lots of marshmellows for Dagmar

"Ooo..."

"You're the best, Nadeen."

"Oh, let's be humble.. I'm in the top five" a smile, she's still shaken but recovering.

Siv 's voice comes loud "NO you shouldn't 'track her down' , she's an autumn person. You don't track them down alone you twit!"

"Totally top five."

"Don't tell me I'm being unreasonable, you're unreasonable!"

Nadeen watches Siv steam and fume, and shakes her head "Was I ever that bad with Zane?"

"not really. Siv is kinda extra."

"Entertaining though" Nadeen sips "So how was the trip to Earth Runes?"

"There's a Varich there! He keeps the hounds."

"Sir Sergei" She says "A bit old for me to marry and beneath my station, but I did consider him back when I was husband hunting."

"Well, not for a match, but nice to see them represented?"

"Siv brought home a puppy."

"Her parents will be tickkkeed"

"And yes, always nice to see the House of the Sun rising."
