Siv comes in, new dog in hand, "Okay okay. Edie, stop sniffing him. Oak, don't lick his wing, it's weird."

Bram is amiable and friendly to other dogs it seems.

"Dagmar? " WOndering if the girl has come along all the way or if she's checking the stables?

"That girl is horse crazy" Siv says to the dogs, "But try not to take it personally, she likes you fluff butts too...ALMOST as much."

Edewleiss and Oak look a bit offended. No dog wants to be outshown by prey animals, even big stompy ones.

"There there" She pets.

20 feet from the stable, The body of horse thief swings from a noose, with a grim warning 'Horse Thieves gonna Die' taped to the body.

Of course, if you get close, you realize it's just a dummy of some sort made to look like someone dead.

Those that know Dirk's scribble notice it.

Siv comes out "Everything okay out here?"

"Dirk decided to help."

"Why do those words fill me with worry?" She looks around then sees it "Oh for the love of the Sea gods."

"Right?"

"I'll cut it down. Don't need local unechanted risking view of it and freaking." She pulls out a regular knife

"Yeah, agreed."

And goes to do so, "So," She asks as she cuts, "You like Earth Runes?"

"Seems nice. The dragon was cool."

"...Our horses are better."

A chuckle, "I am so not surprised you said that last one. Aye, no horse will be as good to you as Star and Stormwake, specially now that Star is yours. " a smile "Though I suppose Star would say you're 'partners'"

"She would, yeah."

"Now, when we get to the Island of horses, I'm gonna have to ask you not to smuggle any horses back here no matter how amazing they are," is she teasing.. just a bit?

"I know. Horses are expensive."

"...What if we find a unicorn?"

"Then it burns at my touch, very sad" she says straight faced

"Oh, right..." She frowns.

"I was kind of joking" True "Relax. Sides, Unicorns are a very varied dream I hear. Some lean towards purity, some towards freedom... but they're all wonderful."

"Oh yeah..."

"Sadly, some Unseelie and lots of Thallian hunt them. Try to take their horns for power and such. Uncle Jaymes doesn't often get involved but he had to free that one back in the day...oh wish I could remember more. Such grand adventures."

"This is true. " She nods "Sides, I like Unicorns. They're the Narwhals of the Land."

Nadeen comes up even as Siv is done with the dummy.

The girl looks around, "Uhm..pardon.. my name's Tanya? I think I'm.. supposed to be here? But.. it's not home?"

"Tanya?" Sam is alert. "What happened? It's Sam. You're safe..."

"Sam? Oh hey... sorry, I'm...lost? Not..lost I.." Tanya Brown rubs her forehead, and one can see her sidhe seeming try to rise, "I was supposed to come here but I don't know why... is that weird? I think maybe I'm having an episode or something...nothing makes sense. It's all... nonsense. "

"We need to get her inside," Siv says "Come inside, Na...Tanya. We'll get you something to drink, it'll clear your head."

"It'll be okay. Tell me what you remember." Guiding her to the lodge.

She is guided "Oh, I was at the skating rink, ice skating? And when I came out I met this..woman. She was horrible. She made me feel so bad for wasting the Browns money."

"I'm a privileged brat, she said..and this guilt began to..." Tanya blinks as the door iso pened and she's lead into the lodge

A scowl. "The Browns love you. They chose you."

Siv closes the door behind them, "Let me get a cup of hot coco for you, Tanya."

"Thank you," Tanya says to both, "And yes, mom and dad are nice, but sometimes I feel so distant. Like I don't know what to do with them... and I should be a better daughter yes? I .. it's important to be a good daughter" She gnaws at her index finger without thinking of it. Worry for her ingratitude
