Sally Mae lets her hand go free and says "Oh, Tove works wonders with spices. She's Dagmar's..." She almost says mother, but instead "She's Dagmar's other parent. Wonderful woman. Sings too."

"Tove is the best, Sally Mae is as good as Kerri."

He gives a look to Sally Mae. He had heard of Kerri being the best but...

Sally Mae gives him a warning look not to challenge this in front of Dagmar at least.

And he seems to get it. "A triumphant triumvirate then, I'm going to have to fight hard not to take seconds"

"Oh here, let me seat you" She says

A slow eyebrow.

"That's hardly needed," he says taking the food from her hand, "You work hard enough, all of you , I've been told by Sir Franklyn the Hearth is under the weather and everyone is pulling extra duty. Thank you though, Sally Mae. I am delighted to see Kinian shown some respect." And a sniff of the food "And I think my stomach will be VERY grateful"

"Oh, I... yes. " She says "if you want more just, you know where to.. " A blush.

She looks between the pair.

"Thank you both again," Carawn says and He takes the food to the dining area, and the door closes so he's out of sight.

Sally Mae mutters "Well, I just made a fool of myself."

"You did?"

"Me, gaping like a groupie with a rockstar" A sigh "I've been warned all my life about sidhe and if he'd patted my head I would have wiggled like a puppy. Mortifying" She admits

'well.. I suppose he's pretty good looking."

"He's too old for me anyway" A sigh "But that's not the point I guess. And yes, he's good looking. They all are."

"Is he?"

For her part, Dagmar might have definite opinions that Nadeen is far better looking.. or she might not.

"You don't think so?"

"Doesn't seem that much older. He's a wilder, too."

"Maybe it's the beard?"

"Wilder? I thought he was a grump I..well, uh " Flushed

"maybe it's the beard." A nod

"Probably the beard."

"It's a nice beard" Sally Mae says

She does not share how it might be good to..run her fingers through it.

A sigh, thoughts wandering.

"See, my family does not trust sidhe. It may not be fair."

"But.. most of them have only dealt with us to conquer us."

"Well, he's a Liam.... and Autumn, too, I think. I think,"

"Yes, Autumn aint' as bad," She tells herself, "Autumn would be all right to.." A blush "I cook the food. I help the Hearth." An odd thing to say.

"Right. Now you have your food too before it gets cold."

"Right."

She polishes off her share quickly enough.... "Ice cream?"

Amused, "I hope youre speed means you enjoyed it and not you just wanted to get past it? Did it taste good? Was the mutton tender enough?"

She is getting out the ice cream as she asks

"It was good. Nice winter food."

"Could maybe use a little more pepper? It's more dad-level pepper right now."

"Silly me, I forgot to add that for you." She apologies, "You want seconds then?"

"Nope. Iiiiicccccccccceeee cream."

"Well earned it is," She nods and gets "Let's make sure it's a dagmar sized bowl" She says getting one more suited a troll than a troll kinian

and she lays some scoops out.

"So - you think new guy is hot?"

"I don't see how you don't. His eyes are... like twilight is approaching"

"Dunno, he's okay."

"Wow. Guess it's not as universal as I thought" A blush "Well, not likely to be a problem . He won't try anything fancy here with The Mountain around if he is not as nice as he seems. And if he is as nice as he seems, well, he'd not be interested in some iowan girl from a modernist commune."
