"Would you like some too to make sure? The Chieftain is out tonight so I made it for nothing it seems" She says "Got plenty"

"Yes please?"

Sally Mae sets her up a plate, and another for the guest.,

"And one for Frank?"

Frank nods. "Is there a matter I should be aware of in the area?"

(Kitchen) "Of course" SHe works on a third "I've got more cooking for others."

(Study) "Not that I know of, Frank. I need to get to know the people"

Frank nods. "That can be arranged."

"Yeah, you're the only one that can replace Kerri single-handed, I think."

"Took, like, four of us."

(Study) "I'd be much obliged. My causee is protecting the love of mortals in its various forms"

Frank nods. "Then you'd prefer to focus on mortals here?"

(Kitchen) "I could never replace, there are things she does I... I'm still in awe, but I can do things my way and get the job done, thank you for noticing" Grateful "Nice to be appreciated"

(Study)" Well, in the barony, yes. I could travel further, of course."

An aside "I like your coffee better."

(Kitchen) "So do I... but the Chieftain just looks so heartbroken when it's not her regular I feel like I've kicked a large blue puppy. Don't tell her I said it that way"

"No, just considering how to best help you."

"It's so bitter though. And yours is foamy!"

(Study) "Introductions or at least a summary of mortals you think might need me would be wonderful. " He smiles "Couples needing to rediscover each other, famliies that need more time together, Friendships that are facing hard times"

"Hm." Frank nods. "I will ask around."

(Kitchen) "See, I like that too, but I think the Chieftain thinks foamy means something has been lost. And she doesn't ask much for her hard work so I don't indulge. But for you I'll try to keep some special 'Dagmar approved blend' if you like?"

(Study) "I noticed that Adam was doing patrols. Do you require me to chip in for that? Pay my way?"

"Require? Well, speaking for the Chief, and only temporarily, no."

(Study) "of course. I am not a warrior by nature, but I can fight if need be."

"Ooo"

(Kitchen) Sally Mae beams "Well, that's easy to do then. Much easier than the other thing"

"Our Hearth has been ill, but is on the mend. Everyone has pitched in to help while she's down. Adam picked up extra patrols."

(Study) "Fine young man. I think I make him nervous" A sigh

As if to demonstrate, Sally Mae reach into the freezer and pulls out something a tub of home made ice cream, it doesn't look chocolate, not dark enough but.. it sure aint' vanilla "A scoop of this is your dessert if you want"

"Mm. It has been a challenge to help him."

Sally Mae alls out "Sir? Your food might get cold."

At that, the sidhe, overhearing, says "Pardon me, Frank. It sounds like i best go to the dining area. "He nods "We can talk about Adam later if you like"

"Why don't you go in and meet Sally Mae, have something to eat. We'll talk later, yes."

"...Coffee ice cream?"

"Nope. If I g ot it right, this is Dr. Pepper Ice cream" Sally Mae says

Carawyn smells , "As good as that smells, that's a very easy idea to go with. Good to meet you, Frank." And he steps out into the main area, leaving frank to his study.

"No waayyyyy..."

"That's why I need a food taster," Sally Mae says, "Someone who knows Dr. Pepper. "

At that moment, a knock at the kitchen door "Miss? Sorry to trouble you. You called for me?" The new Sidhe's voice.

"Food! Trollish-ish."

"Come in, Sir I'll hand it over and.." As she declares this, Carawyn?

Obeys.

The door opens, and it's like a sunbathed mist pouring in full of light, a sunbathed mist with lavender tinged blue eyes.

And Sally Mae manages not to gape, but she blushes lightly, and for a seccond she does...admire.

A low aside "Toldja. Beard."

"Uh huh" She mutters back.

"Hello, you must be Sally Mae ,I'm Carawyn. It's nice to meet you. That smells wonderful." He offers his hand.

SHe takes it, swallowing "I hope you like it, it's Fårikål. Mutton and cabbage.. and.. potatoes."

"Sally Mae is tied for second-best cook in Rivervale."

"Sounds wonderful," he assures, and if she seems to be insisting on holding on longer than needed, he's not being rude enough to break it with aburptness.
