"We have two sidhe, and Adam's sidhe kinain."

"Yes, fine young man Adam." He nods

"Hmm."

"I've been told trolls have the largest kith population here. Any others come close?"

"Pooka, perhaps." Not without humor.

"We're up to four satyrs..."

"Satyrs and pooka? Well, this might be challenging but fun. Normally I'd ask if they abused the mortals but as at least one Liam is here and I don't suspect any Gwydion would tolerate it either I imagine that's answered"

"Mm. Carawyn, you said your staying depended on my sufferance, and Brekke's. Truth is, it will be Brekke's decision."

"I understand" He nods "And even she declines, the bannerhouse is very grateful for her voice"

Frank nods.

A look at Dagmar "I can talk to your father, but I'm not sure I can promise anything even if he finds me acceptable, at least not until the Chieftain decides."

"She has been at Caer Falken, the County seat. I hope to see her retuning by mid-week."

A nod "I am currently at a local motel, I can leave my room number etc if need be"

"Would you prefer to lodge here?"

"Surely others need it more?" A brow

"There's always at least a couch."

"You're a guest; it's a part of our duty."

"And, you are a House brother."

"Have you eaten?"

"I think Sally Mae is in the kitchen, Dagmar."

"I have not, but, well thank you. I guess I should take you up on your offer."

The sidhe seems surprised by the firmness of the kind offer. He is Liam, and perhaps used to being given low priority for haven.

"You want food-food or, like, just a sandwich?"

"Oh, I'll try a troll meal if you like, Lutefisk or whatever" Straight faced

"Oh god, no. You don't want that, no matter what Tove says..."

"Why don't you see what's handy, Dagmar?"

"Yssir." And she's off.

"She's... a very generous soul," The younger grump says to Frank of Dagmar

Sally Mae is in the kitchen scrubbing a pot

"She's a good person, and an rising knight. She is my niece."

A nod "I have to ask, just because one can't always trust stories. I mean no disrespect. Did she really joust a car?"

"She did." Quiet pride.

"When I was her age I was trying not to fall off my horse" He admits

"Come and sit." Frank invites him to a chair.

He takes a seat, "Nice study"

"Just a corner of the room. When the wilder crew was younger, it was more difficult to work in but..... always entertaining."

(in the kitchen) Sally Mae turns from her pot, "Dagmar? Need anything?"

Carawyn nods "Nothing like a youth stampede to keep things moving." A fond look "I mused a family, single mother and her kids... they were lively" A chuckle

"Food for a guest. He wants something "trollish" but, seriously, I don't think he actually wantes lutefisk."

"Trollish is pretty much like a lot of other things, just bigger portions" She says "But I take it he's not a troll?" Sally Mae inquires

"Nope. Sidhe! With a beard... I didn't know they could grow those. I thought they were like Legolas, y'know?"

"A sidhe? Mmm yes, they can grow beards, but most don't" She says "I.. oh, I know what to make him. Already was working on it " She turns to the stove and starts to finish something up.

"Whatcha makin'?" Nosy.

"Fårikål" She says "Was trying Norweigan dishes for the Chief.. and that's pretty trollish" She pulls it out

"Mm." Frank nods. "You're here on behalf of the bannerhouse?"

"Yes," Carawyn says "I joined the Bannerhouse recently , I was a member in a past life I don't remember, but it feels right. Liam? Well, I came out that way and never wanted another House"

(Kitchen) "See, it's a Mutton, Cabbage and Potato meal with peppercorn... it's really simple but has a rich flavor" And it smells wonderful

"Okay, that does sound trollish..." Sniff. "Smells okay."
