"Well, Iwas stuborn about it...but it bothered me when he moved... and I thought I'l lshow him I'll stick around here... but I missed him. More than that, I ... sometimes I wanted to talk to him.. I guess, he'll never be my dad, but he's like a father in a lot of ways. Dagmar called me on my bullshit, and she's not the only one.." Realizing what she said to who "Sorry about the profanity"

Frank tilts his head, but then shakes his head. "Words are words. Say what you mean, and mean what you say."

"So ,I thought, I might as well admit it, I miss Uncle Vali and.. he's family and I need family. Not that you guys aren't family too, but he's always been in my life,right? So I asked him, and Tiffany if it was okay if I moved into their hosue. They've got lots of room and said yes. I'm not sure what to think of Margilta but it seemed okay. I was gonna just. .do it. Get there make the switch and boom." A breath "And then when Connor learned about it, he freaked out."

She tripple checks to make sure Connor isn't around, then describes what happened that night

OOC: Not easy to do short, but best sum up I can say BIC: "He asked if I was having a garage sale..when he saw thae box. He had been news about helping at the store, was so excited, so I thought this was a good time and I told him I had big news too and was moving to Uncle Vali's house near the high school. I told him he could move into my ownd room and asked him to not let distance keep him from remmebering I was his sister.. that i wanted him to visit and that we'd still walk together and I'd take him to his classes and that I wasn't going to lose him" A deeper breath "Then he just broke into tears...and in pooka speech was pretty much talking about how I should go and leave him and.. ugh"

"So I told him I'd stay here after all... and... now I don't know, he's ..acting like it might be okay, but it's hard to tell. He's my little brother. I don't want to make him feel abandoned. It sucks losing family"

Frank sits down with her.

"It does, yes."

"He seems to want me to leave some of my stuff here in this room, and some of it at The Gardener House " Using Vali's mortal last name "But ...I don't know. Part of the point was to free up a room for the twins or other kids or even guests who needed a bed room in the lodge. Now suddenly I..I really don't know what to do. I know some folks think I'm just being dramatic when I said I was his sister, but i meant it, you know?"

"Gerd.... we can take this slowly. If you wish to move, move a bit, a piece, at a time. That's ok."

"Don't tell Connor this, but doing it bit by bit is a lot harder than just moving, but if it will help him adjust I guess I can"

Frank nods. "Exactly. Harder on you, easier for him. Pick one."

"That's not a choice really, not for any one who values duty. I'll cope." She says matter of factly

There's a pause.

"And maybe Tiffany will get over her dislike of him and he'll be able to.." She stops as she notices the pause "Mountain? what is it?"

"You feel Tiffany dislikes Connor?"

"That's not why you paused" She observes

"Perhaps. But that is not my question, is it?"

"I asked first" She sulks then "No, Tiffany .. I think Tiffany worries that Connor seems himself as a dog who turns into a boy rather than a boy who turns into a dog, and as a Dog Pooka herself she finds that kind of offensive? Also, while she loves Marglita like the coolest big sister ever... well, when Connor and she were introduced a lot of folks acted like 'well, she'll be his new mom' and that got her hackles up"

"She's not mean about it, or to him, just keeps her distance. When he enters the room she tends to walk out. You didn't notice?"

"How do you feel about it?"

"Annoyed with her. I don't like my little brother getting snubbed, so I tell myself it's her hang ups and not meant as an insult to him, but I also LIKE Tiffany, and Vali loves her so.." A shrug "Why did you pause after I mentioned duty?"

"I'm old."

"Can't sqeeze blood from a stone or conversation from a grump " She sighs "So.. I guess I'll take it slow. Move over really gradually more or less and try to help Connor cope."

He chuckles. "You may be, and you are not rude."

"THanks" She says "I.. just want Connor and Vali to both be happy."

The Mountain nods.

"What about yourself?"

"Nice, but not as important at least in the immediate" She says

"You are nice but not important?"

"Now you're twisting my words. Happiness for me would be nice, but is not as important as happiness for the two of them, at least in the immediate here and now"

Frank huffs, smiling. "Gerd.... you know you are a wilder?"

"I've got an old man in my skull" She reminds then "Also, " A blush "You guys do know I flicker flash plenty of places? Only reason I haven't 'wildered' much this week is Hearth Kerri was down and Sally Mae was out. now that Sally Mae is back, I'm zapping around plenty. Honest. Might even get into trouble."
