"But...it's your kid sibling. Kinda good to get to know him or her."

"Can I get tickets?" Gerd inquires

Sylvi gives Siv wide eyes. "Yeah, just make sure you leave MY name out of it."

"It's not really. It's Jaymes & Toves baby."

"Well, I don't quite agree with you, Dagmar" Siv says "But pushing you wouldn't be nice so we won't. I think this little one is going to be a big part of your life, and so getting to know is wise"

"Yeah, everything will be different. I know. Babies are a ton of work."

"If you need help, let me know," Gerd says "Sylvi usually gets the good babysitting money around here"

"Yeah, we can help, if you need. And you can always come here when you need a sanity break."

"I guess. I mean, I'll have to help out."

"We can have Big girls only Xena nights" Gerd suggests

"Well, baby or not. We have SEASONS to go..."

"Oh, cool. Hey...we totally need to have a pajama party."

"I mean, when Mom's better."

"Aye," Siv says "And she'll recover soon right?" A bit worried. "Sorry, still ffreaks me out she's down. It's like finding out Superman has the flu"

"We could heap up the couch cushions and stuff around the fire?"

"She'll be fine" Gerd says

"Couch cushions sound fun" Gerd says headwhipping

"Yeah, she's going to be okay. And I think so, Dagmar. If the Chieftain and the Mountain are okay with it."

"Well, if not... maybe at the Barn?"

"Sure!"

"Sure" A nod , Siv says "Might even be better. I love Connor but ah.. he might try to join in PJ night otherwise"

"Hey, my little brother is..." Gerd says "Well, okay I see your point"

"Oooh. Oh. Oh, we've gotta do something special for him in the afternoon, to make up for it. So...should it be just us, or any of the other girls? Don't know how big we can make this...."

"Well... I mean, Connor could have something with Lily and Malcolm?"

"Childlings here, and us at the Barn?"

"We do have more kids in the area now, good idea, Dagmar" Siv approves

"And I would like just us... maybe? Not too big and crazy."

"Troll girls."

"Oh, that's cool! Yeah, Mom would be totally into that as a compromise."

"Yeah...just us would be great."

"Before the baby."

"Totally, like, soon. Before she starts getting, you know, nervous about the due date and stuff."

"Sounds like a plan"

"And popcorn. And maybe scary stories?"

"Absolutely! And maybe games?"

"Like...poker?"

"Sure? We could gamble chores..."

"Oh! I was thinking pennies or little dross...but chores is big stakes!" She looks eager about that.

"Well, yeah. Gotta make it interesting, like they say."

"I am so in."

"It'll be great watching you scoop Stormwake poop." A grin.

She makes a face. "Just wait until you have to do all the Lodge laundry for a week."

Dag laughs.

"Or maybe Siv-the-fearless will bet big and do it allllll."

"And we'll drive COlton and Symon and them nuts, not knowing."

"Well, she IS so very smart about big decisions...." She says a bit louder, since Siv has left the room.

"Oh, you're right...we shouldn't tell them. They'll love the mystery."
