Brekke shares a glance with Jaymes and gives a slight shrug. This television thing is important to them.

Head tilt ("If it makes my daughter happy and she has a good role model, I am okay with it")

A nod, and she sips.

"Anyhow, You'd like her." She takes the coffee to Jaymes.

"You may be right."

Nadeen enters "Chieftain? Forgive me. I know you are busy but...a moment?"

"I can share it out here if you like, I Have news of diplomatic nature that came in while Sylvi was with you in Mexico"

"Nadeen?"

"Hello, Dagmar" A smile from the sidhe

"Yes, of course, Baroness. I think you can share it here." Brekke looks slightly concerned.

"It's not bad news per se," She assures, "It's just- well, this might be more for the mountain. Apparently Banner House Truthbranch is having a member move up here to expand their access . They also want to thank you for your support with House Gwydion." She hands over a scroll

An eyebrow. "Hm. That was a further-reaching action than I had thought. A Truthbranch here?" She takes the scroll and reads it.

"Isn't Lady Sparrow a Truthbranch now?"

"She is. I.. don't know if she'd be the one coming or not" Surprised

"She was always, by family," Brekke mutters as she reads.

The scroll is vague on specific of WHO but makes it clear gratitude and assurance this is not meant as any trouble to Sir Frank or the Baroness herself and they will yank them back if it is too much trouble etc. etcs.

Brekke looks for a signature. This is from whom among the Truthbranches?

Apparently it is by a Squire Tylar ap Liam on orders of the Bannerhouse

"Hm. Well. It seems we will have a newcomer. I do not know the person's age, rank, or background. Once I do know, however, I will need help in guiding him or her." She rolls up the scroll...after checking whether there's any mention of if the new arrival will need housing.

"Were you told anything, Baroness?" she asks Nadeen.

It would appear housing is covered, though of course, for glamour, the person might come in when allowed.

"Mostly that the Bannerhouse is very grateful and aware of your part, they feel quite indebted to you, they are, I'm afraid, extremely seelie" She says

A bemused look. "You make that sound tragic."

"Perhaps I should more resigned than anything" a flicker of a smile, "But Varich biases aside.. I also have this. " Another scroll "For you"

Gerd raises a brow and looks at Dagmar, whispering "She's popular all the sudden"

A blink, and she takes the scroll. A glance at Gerd, "Yes, this is unusual." She unrolls the second scroll.

"and has ears like a bat" Gerd adds in the same whisper

This scroll has the symbol of the Thurazaz rune, Thor's hammer

"You are not a sluagh, Gerd. You do not whisper as well as you think." A frown at the symbol, and she steps a bit further away from the others to read.

"Oddly feeling that one" She touches her heart dramatically

"Oh! Thor!"

Brekke reads quietly, and she may even have forgotten that there are other people in the room. Her brow furrows, and she settles in her chair to read it over again.

Jaymes has perfected the art of minimalism as he sips his coffee

Gerd isn't that stern, looking curious

Eventually, she looks up, realizing that there are, in fact, other people in the room...and they are not talking. Instead, they seem to be waiting for her to speak. She clears her throat and rolls up the scroll. "Thank you, Baroness."

Nadeen raises a brow "My duty, Chieftain. THough I am confused by the symbol and paper styling, it's not like any court's paper I know of"

Gerd says "Did you peek?"

"I did not" Not only is it true, The Varich seems offended.

"Ah. No. It is not. It is an old symbol. The rune Thurisaz."

"Nordic? " Nadeen says eyes lighting onto a solution "This is a trollish missive? Interesting." A breath "I shall pry no more but let me know if you need me further"

"It is...." She pauses and looks at the scroll again. "I...may have more to say about this, more that I can share. But not yet."

Nadeen bows, then "I'll head home then. It is late."

A respectful nod to Nadeen. "My thanks again. And...I have patrol."

"I'm going to put in Ghost " Gerd says "Hold on, Dagmar, I'll get the DVD"

Instead of getting up immediately, she looks at the two scrolls she holds, then she carefully tucks them away in her belt pouch.
