A look at Gerd, curious. "He is speaking more often to you than 'part-time'?"

"Since my togail he got more active.. then with the dragon's death he.. pipes up more, not always but.. when he thinks I need advice or a talking to.." A sigh

"Think it'd be goth to have a ghost in your head?" Trying to help.

"Mmph... not exactly Patrick Swayze"

Brekke's expression is...complicated. After a moment, she settles on going to get herself more coffee. "Do not let him bully you too much," she says with a hint of amusement.

"..Who's Patrick Swayze?"

A tilt of Gerd's head, then she says "I think he's playing offended now, Chieftain. Something about he never bullied, just encouraged you to be your best"

"oh it's this CLASSIC old movie with Whoopi Goldberg and ... The Ghost is Sam Wheat. He's a good guy.. but dies and ...is trapped by his need to know and his love for his lady." Terribly romantic

A deep breath, and a nod. "He is right. Excuse me, a moment, please." And Brekke heads up the stairs with her coffee mug. "I will be back."

"Whoopi from the View?"

Frank follows the Chief.

"Okay, Chieftain" Gerd says "Should I not have mentioned what he..said?" worried

But the Chief is gone out of earshot

So Gerd turns back "Yes, Whoopi from the view"

"She's okay. Tove watches it sometimes..."

"Well, you might like the movie. "

"We could check it out? You gave Xena a shot..."

"ANd liked it" Gerd agrees "Sure." A smile "Congrats again on Star. Jonas says you were amazing. Well, he used bigger words than that"

"He would."

"Anyway, well deserved." A nod

Blush-shrug-mumble

Jaymes grunts mms ("Yes, it is")

Gerd blinks "Geez.. Sometimes I forget you're there" then blushes "Sorry, Mr. King"

"Anybody want something to drink? I'm thirsty, I can grab stuff."

Jaymes nods ("Coffee cup refill will be fine with me. Only a smidge of sugar. You know I like it") A mmm ("Thank you"_

"Oh I can make my own tea, not sure any is ready" Gerd says

After a few minutes, Brekke comes back downstairs, alone.

"Welcome back, Chieftain. YOu ever seen Xena, or Ghost?"

Her brow furrows as she goes to refill her coffee. "These are kithain?"

Dagmar is filling a cup for Jaymes... (jo jo jo jo)

"Oh! Chief'd like Xena!"

"Probably" Gerd says

"There have been so many new kithain recently...did I miss some?" She sips.

"It's a TV show."

"AN old one."

"Old, from the Nineties."

"Like Vali Old" Sage nod

"Ah. That old." A slight grin, then a reflective expression. "My chrysalis was in that time. But before then..." she shakes her head. "I never have watched much television. My parents did not own one."

"I always liked tv. And movies. Like... you can escape in those for a while."

Bemused. "I suppose that is one way. Many dreams are given form in entertainment."

"Also the actress who play the heroine is..well, she's built like a troll. "

"Not so much the height, but the body tone and the thickness?" For some reason this seems important to Gerd

Nod-nod. "She's a badass."

"Hm. Perhaps she is one. The actress. Or kinain."

"That would be cool"

"Or, perhaps a gifted actress who could make people watch and appreciate a strong woman."
