Kyle takes the hand, "You don't say? Hold on" Another hand, and the boy is lifted up to Kyle's shoulder

"Whooop!" He yelps happily as he is hoisted up. "I can see to the moon from here!"

"Chimera... well, anything of the Dreaming that is not Fae. It could be animate, sentient, or inanimate." Frank explains.

Kyle nods and listens "like the monkey friend of dagmar ..ah, snow?"

"Yes. Snow is a Chimera."

"Snow is at LEAST a third made of fruit."

"mm I hear she loves it yes, and is someone focused. But other Chimera are like..weapons or shields that mortals never see"

Kyle seems used to balancing youngers on his shoulders and Connor has a good walk

He enjoys the ride, pointing out, "And there is where a family of squirrels live, but if you try to climb up in the spring they will drop twigs on your head, and that's the pathway towards the lake, where there is a shore if you need shore to shore up the path... oh, the best skippin' rocks are in the crick down by the lake. It's also a creek but some people call it a crick and that's funny."

(chatter chatter chatter)

Brekke nods. "Adam's nature allows him to see chimera, even when he is not enchanted. That is part of what drew our attention to him in the first place...he defended others against threats he should not have been able to see as a mortal."

Kyle nods as if the pooka were giving sage wisdom

At Brekke's comment about Adam, "I am both retroactively proud and terrified the more I learn about my son's exploits."

"He fought a dozen dozen sandworms when it was almost the Drag-" He pauses, and glances to Brekke, unsure if he's still not supposed to talk about THAT visitor.

"Drag?" A brow

...race?"

Brow goes HIGHER

"It is fine, Connor."

"I'm also a racecar driver. Or I would be, if I could just have the right bed. Then I would zoom circles around any dragons, except it's dead as a doornail, and I'm not sure doornails are ever alive?"

"Just before Sam... Halloween, we call it Samhain..... There was a dragon attack that members of our Lodge were involved in." Frank rumbles.

"And I understand about offspring-induced fear," she assures Kyle.

"Dragons are real... well, of course they are" He says with a nod

"Rare, but real."

And does accept it.

He whispers in Kyle's ear, "I like race cars, but I never get to see any. I tried to watch a show about a Drag Race but it was just people in funny outfits."

Frank nods. "Adam helped defend the Lodge and area while Brekke and others of our kith addressed the Dragon."

A smile slips at the pooka's comment "If you like, maybe I can show you where to find the races you want on TV "

Brekke doesn't comment on her part of the dragon story.

"I see. Siv is your girl, right? her name? Does she ever get into trouble?"

"Siv is one of our two daughters. And...yes. To her credit, she gets out of trouble almost as often."

"Jessica is older, and oversees lands in Mexico." Unmistakable quiet pride.

"I'd like to over-see it someday." He asks. "I've never been to Mexico. Their dogs are weird though. Would I have to shave?" He sounds concerned.

"No, Connor; we'll bring you along the next time we go."

"We will make sure you spend some time there, Connor."

"For really-really real? But only if there are no muggles, please. Mexico sounds too warm for my winter coat and hat. I would burn right up."

A nod of quiet respect at the obvious pride "They both sound like fine young girls. Adam has been more of a handful for me in a lot of ways, but Lily, even before this, was the one who got into trouble I never expected. Boys tend to do something overtly even if brilliantly stupid, girls are more cunning in their boneheaded moments- my experience anyway" A sigh "Either way, parenting has been the source of more than one idea for an antacid commerical"

Frank nods. "I've eaten my share of antacids."

"We will find a way, Connor," Brekke assures him.

"Jess said the new trod opens up right in the Hold; he can stay hidden."

Then to Kyle, "As she is a sluagh, you may increasingly find Lily's preferences and behavior to be disturbing. Her tastes will likely upset you, but try to be patient."

He nods solemnly to Brekke, and says to Kyle, "When Chief says something, you can believe it, because gold and green doesn't lie. I mean I don't THINK anyone else here lies either, but that's how you KNOW."

"That...is not entirely true, Connor." Brekke corrects, then explains to Kyle, "My House, Gwydion, puts a high value on truth, but it is not beyond a Gwydion to lie."

"One time, Adam decided to go roof surfing, sure that if he just caught the wind right, he'd clear the distance. " A sigh "Brenda had an eyetwitch that wouldn't quit for a week." a nod at talk of Lily "Yes, Brenda is horrified we 'starved' our daughter. It seems okay now that we know, but she's definitely..different"

"She is likely to become preoccupied with ideas of death and decay. This is normal, to an extent...but if she seems to be harming herself, please let us know."

"At least...that is part of my experience with sluagh."

"I should know. I'm always truthful." He pauses and adds, "That means, full of truth. Just sometimes it gets stuck and comes out the wrong shape." He listens to Brekke, and adds, "She won't like loud sounds and bright lights. You should lock her up in the basement and give her the key."

Kyle nods, proccessing the House information as well as the request for keeping an eye on hsi daughter

"Mm," she nods agreement with Connor. "She will prefer small, quiet, dark places. You may discover she finds a way to get inside the walls and stay there."

"Kyle.... how is Adam doing? As far as you know?"

Meanwhile, the walking is lulling Connor to sleep. He starts up a few times to open his eyes, but the gentle sway of the troll's wide paces, and the warmth of the sun even in late winter soon has him drooped over in a puppy doze.
