"NAh. After all the work you put into straightening up Jaymes? " Grin "Let's face it, our parents need fussing over, the goofs"

And she pauses as her text goes off. "Okay.. Zane is.. " She blinks and double checks

"Zane is what?"

"Okay.. he says Adam says it looks like his mom had work done, and to quote Zane 'she's looking a bit younger, still MILFY but younger'...and .. a bed is bigger and sheets have changed?"

"Ok..." Brow furrow.

"That means ..someone, through a dream maybe, cast magic that affected the autumn world. Maybe from the Dreaming. That's..powerful"

"Dangerous."

"Dad's the mountain, but I've studied enough to know he's got to have something to help...a treasure I think mbut does it do it for him, or amplify? "

"Magic." Bewildered look and a shrug.

"Magic has rules, and limits, even ours. " Siv paces "Damn."

"I know, but... like.. magic isn't my strong suite."

"No, you're only good at fighting, riding, animals, wood carving, shop, superhero movie lore, and helping in the kitchen like a pro... and giving good advice, and noticing things.. other than that you totally suck" Brow

"Hey!"

Siv breaks into a grin, "I'm saying you're awesome and I'm glad you're not the best at everything or you'd be out sailing me soon"

"Well, don't wanna be the best at everything. Best at one thing'd be nice, though."

"Fair enough. JOnas will always be better than shifting with me. Though he prefers critters, I prefer other people"

Siv says "Watch this..easy one" A shift and suddenly ,she looks .. well , she IS a he! Siv, if he'd been a boy and now a man

"Thanks, even the voice..and yes, uhmm everything is there. works and all" A shake

Exhale. "Better."

"I like it better too." She texts

"Dagmar, sometime later, we might head to TJ. Dangerous city, but... we could use a vakay and let the grumps do the work again."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. I know mom has been super active, but with Kerri providing for the new lodge as well as this one and things... and dad doing his studies. I wonder if they're not testing us a bit .. or maybe it's trusting us? But either way I'm gonna want a break , maybe an adventure , and I figure you might too"

Grunt.

"Okay, my guess on translation 'Siv, you genius, you know that's a great idea and we should totally go sailing for fun and adventure in the pacific'"

"Sure."

"Wow, you are really my biggest fan when you let me fill in the blanks like that" A hug

"Hey!" She allows it.

"Well, if I can't understand you guys I get to write the script" Siv says smugly

"Actually, is there a place YOU want to quest or adventure?"

"Mm."

"Well, heck, sure.. but Olgar says its best to quest in the dreaming with a purpose. We'd have to search FOR something" A pause "Want to find the chimerical stork delivering the kid and tell him we're only taking girls?" Humor "Teach your dad not to call dibs?"
