"Here, Lily, take this" She offers a small blue flower, "It is from our garden, the magic of it may be of use."

Lily takes it' Neat, thank you"

Zane says 'Yup, sure am. Thanks, Siv. Trollocracies rock"

Adam takes Lily's hand to walk out to the car. "Let me know if the Chief wants to see us, Siv." Dagmar gets one of those warm smiles; a small one, but it's just for her. "See you, Dagmar."

"I will" Siv says

"Seeya, Adam. Practice this week, yeah?"

"Yeah. See you then." And he heads out to the car.

She watches him go, biting on her lip.

Once the others are gone, Siv looks to Dagmar, "You okay, Dagmar?"

"Yeah. why wouldn't I be?"

"Not sure, you seemed tense there for a bit, thought maybe I was forgetting something"

"Nah."

"Fair. I think Adam was hoping for a more sure fix. Wish I had one for him"

"Damn bizare though right? His dream?"

"Weird as hell."

"I know how you feel about... the idea of another Tayna Nadeen situation. I mean, as strong as we are, we don't have the power to guard against that lightly, but I do know some folks. Maybe they can suggest deterrents"

"Maybe. Adam..." Huff. "He doesn't seem to get that being sidhe, he won't be HIM."

"Aye. Honestly, soemtimes I wish he were an Autumn sidhe, or even a pooka or what not... but he's just not. And the only way he can be is still, as you point out, not him"

"Unless, what, we selkie him?"

"But then he'd have to go away, too - we're not close enough to the shore."

"Well, I could give him rides but I don't want to do that every day. Yeah, Selkie furs are another matter." She ponders "And not like you have them growing on trees"

"Yeah..."

"Like, Sally Mae seems happy enough?"

"Yeah. I think she's gotten over soem hang ups, but Auntie Clem listens to the Kinain at the farm"

"Chief listens..."

"He just... dunno."

"Well, you know, Adam has one or two habits that make me bonkers. Putting words in people's mouths and then acting like I'm over sensitive when he gets called on it.. bugs me. But he's also proven to be brave and heroic and I give that a lot of credit. He's held through hard stuff and I respect that. But this is...mmmph"

"This is gonna mess with him."

"Seems like someone is already messing with him, and I don't appreciate it." SHe admits

"Yeah. We don't have any other sidhe kin, do we?"

"Sounds like Lily isn't..."

"Not that i know of here. I'll nose around teaneck and Caer Falken"

"Probably lots there. No sluagh other than Symon that I know of.."

"We warn him, he's smart and careful."

"Yeah. I worry about what methods he might take for self defense, but we best warn him. He's a right to it."

"Agreed."

"And, I know Nadeen loves her dad, and you used to work for him, but if it comes to a choice where a sluagh or even a kinian dies or he stays far away, well, he stays far away. Sorry, reincarnation or not, right to live comes first "

"I don't... I don't know if Nadeen can be objective about him."

"Yeah. " Siv says "remember how I said I would never be chief?"

"Do you want to be?"

"No I do not, not when it means days like this where I have to hOPE I'm right. I think captain of a ship is enough"

"Captain suits you." Agreeably.

"Thanks. And, I hope I didn't disparage your knighthood. I knwo my rank here is temp"

Shrug. "Eh." (No big)

"Okay" She rolls with it "I'm a bit worried about Zane. He's gonna be more torn than he lets on"

"Over Nadeen? Maybe I can try to get them back together..."

"Maybe, but mroe like.. if Nadeen blows in his ear, he's liable to talk about this whole thing"
