Siv looks at Dagmar who glances to her father, then says "Dont' worry. I'm pretty sure he's pretending not to hear. " Clearly she still wonders why she has a type

Frank grunts softly to himself, making a mental note, and turns to his correspondence.

"That's my problem, big words, no words. I see a guy who keeps his insides bottled in, and acts like a living Island I just have to go discover him"

"Yeah. Well, accept it or change it."

"Yep. And you can't MAKE someone change"

"No - I mean, change you."

"Either accept you're gonna go after weirdos, or decide not to do it."

"oh, well , that sounds like hard work ..." MIGHT be joking

"And Jonas isn't a weirdo.. okay, he's odd, but weirdo is like a whole nother level. I think"

The door opens

Tove comes in beaming

Shrug.

"Hi Tove, how's junior?"

Siv waves.

Tove says "Fine, fine.." A pause "Though she might be a juniorette, you know?"

Siv shakes her head, "Nope. Jaymes says he's decided on a son."

"Hmph."

"Hmph" Tove echoes

"Oh not you too, Tove," Siv says despairing , well, mock desparing.

Frank stands. "Tove. Welcome."

He crosses to offer a brotherly cheek-kiss.

Tove kisses him on the cheek in return, then says "What has your daughter so upset?"

"Boys."

"And the fact it seems Tove's been infected by the 'inability to use her words' plague" Siv adds

Tove raises a brow, mmphs and looks at Dagmar and Frank (Lovely girl, but a bit of a dramatic isn't she?)

"I'm never entirely sure." Frank confesses.

Siv almost whimpers as Tove goes all 'browtalk'

Tove laughs softly "Yes, I still use words. I'm a singer." She looks to her daughter 'I have news"

"yeah?"

"A certain purchase is approved" Tove beams

"Oh..." She bites on her lip and nods.

Tove notices the look, "Pardon me, Siv, Frank. Need to talk to Dagmar for a moment " She gestures to the kitchen

That is for her and Dagmar to go to the kitchen

"What?" She frowns and follows.

"Well, actually, that's what I wanted to ask you" Once they're in the kitchen, "you seem nervous, like there's something that's worrying you, but you dont' want to cause trouble. And I'm your... well I love you and I want you to be able to trust me with things." Tove says "Including your worries. What's bothering you?"

"Just... like.. what if it doesn't work?"

"Could we lose the house?"

"It might not work, but we won't lose the house" she says "That's paid for, and we ..thought about putting it up as collateral? But then decided it wasn't fair to you and everyone else"

Thumb-bite and a nod.

"Will he be working all the time now?"

Tove lowers her voice, "After he didn't let us in on this until you found out? Nope. He doesn't get to make that choice... not alone. He's getting help. If I have to put out job feelers myself, and you and I know the internet better than he does"

Nod-nod.

"oh he made me so mad with him there, I admit it, but it's okay, sometimes families get annoyed with each other too. That's why the baby will have his... or HER own room. "

"So you have your space when you need it"

"You said, yeah."

"I did, but I know sometimes when you've been told things for so many years only to have then not be true, it's hard to trust. I Remember Thyle when I... well, let's just say the daughter of an oathbroken , folks figure didn't deserve honesty."
