Frank takes another drink.

"Well, Sylvi's likely grounded when she gets back f rom Helping COlton so she'll probably be glad to have the hair to work on to get a break" Siv guesses

"Grounded? Why?"

From the doorway.

"I think it has something to do with spending the night there without even calling her mum. You know parents." A sigh

then a sheepish look at her dad "Though we love them"

"I thought they knew she went?"

"Well maybe I'm wrong on that, but Kerri was smashing a lot of pans when I returned without her"

"...hunh."

Frank looks painfully resigned.

"Sorry, dad. LOVE you know? She's crazy about Colton, and love is... what kind of seelie would I be not to help?"

"A parent's love is valid, Siv."

"Well I know it" she straightens her father's voile "You give me lots of that though I make you vexed at times."

His beard moves.

Dag watches the pair, thoughtful.

"Did you just smile for a second under there? Beards, so secretive."

"Hmphm."

"Public speaking, not the king family strong point" But fond "Guess that's why I'm here, to balance it out." A look to Dagmar, "I really need to learn stoic from you sometime. I think you and your dad are borderline telepathic"

"I mean, we talk."

"I have heard you speak together." Frank supports.

"Yeah."

"Tove's learning."

"I think she speaks just fine."

Grunt. (She tries.)

"Ack. She did it again" Siv says

She looks at her dad "And you understood it, didnt' you?"

"Mm?" (Did what?)

Frank nods. He understood.

Siv rubs at her forehead

"Am I the only troll who can't do this?"

"Maybe you just haven't found someone you can do it with, yet."

"Mmph" non commital, and imprecise

Brow furrow, glance at Frank. (Not quite there, eh?)

"Gah.. do you two not hear the silence?"

Her eyes a big bugged out that there was like.. at least 30 seconds of no talking and yet they act like there was

An eyebrow.

"You know, I think I will get a drink. So I don't end up ripping off eyebrows in a beserker fit." She goes to the kitchen muttering "Brow is not a language I don't even..."

Gently lifted eyebrows. "Hunh."

"Gah" INTO the kitchen

His beard moves, and he drinks some coffee.

yup, if you listen very carefully you can hear from the kitchen "love em all to death but one day I'm gonna snap and shave them while they sleep... no eyebrows..." drink gotten

Siv does return, soda in hand

A suspicious look at them, as if they might have been 'not talking' behind her back, then she opens it

Frank clears his throat. "Yule soon. "
