Siv nods to her father "Lot of that going around. Sorry I wasn't there for my patrols but..." She turns to see Jonas, and her nose wrinkles.

"Jonas helped out."

"Hey, Symon, you ever think about becoming an official motley?"

"Just endeavoring to assist my new community, Mountain" Jonas says. Then a nod to Siv "Salutations, Siv."

Siv fights the urge to roll her eyes "Hi to you too." She blinks, "New community? Wait, are you staying?"

"Yes. Mrs Lee is employing me" The young man says putting some things away.

"Well, we appreciate that,Jonas."

Gerd looks at Symon "Yeah, Symon. We could get a logo and stuff. No. Not kidding. I think it could look bad ass"

"Wait, what?" He goggles at Jonas. "You're working for Ann Marie?" Then blinks abck at the others. "Uh." Embarrassed, and scuffs a foot a bit. "I mean, sure. If it's a cool logo."

"YES, dark colors will be in with two of us voting" Gerd says relieved.

"Thank you, Mountain," Jonas says "it's gratifying to hear." Then a nod to Symon "Yes. Symon, your step mother has been quite distressed at your absence by the way. I imagine we may bump into each other not infrequently. I look forward to better making your acquaintance."

"I vote blue."

"Sea blue" Siv says

"We'll need to talk to Sylvi, too."

"She's at school." Frank offers.

Jonas reports to the Mountain "Patrol was uneventful since the branch incident sir."

"Branch? incident?" Siv says.

Jonas says "Eldritch encounter, I need clearance from the Mountain, Hearth, or Chieftain to update you further."

Symon seems to be having trouble processing this. "Working for her doing WHAT? Are you a social worker? Or.. or... what?"

Jonas looks at Symon "I suppose my duties fall in the purview of personal assistant and when need be field operative."

"But the stuff she does is -boggan- stuff. You're like... animal-patrol-sword guy."

"Clearance?" Siv says "The Chief is my mother, the mountain is my father.. AND he's right here."

Frank nods to Jonas. "We can talk about it later, Siv."

"Clearly" Jonas agrees with Siv. Then turns to Symon "I am also a former member of the Peace Corp , a trained life guard, and have training in secretarial duties."

Siv looks like she's tempted to find something to bounce against Jonas' head.

Jaymes grunts to Dagmar, brow knitting (What's with Siv , Symon and the new guy? I'm missing something?)

Grunt. (Complicated crush.)

Mmmph (People are weird)

Nod.

He glances to Siv, trying to make some sense of this new guy, suddenly intruding all up ins all of the business. A skeptical, wary look back at Jonas. "Well. I guess I'll ask her directly.."

"A transition can often be offsetting, I understand," Jonas says matter of factly, "but adaptation is a gift of our seeming I'm sure we'll all cope with the necessary shift in social dynamics"

Siv looks like she's not sure if she wants to strangle Jonas or... or something else.

Symon looks like he wants to... well. It's not wise to have such thoughts about people larger and stronger than you, and pretty much everyone is larger and stronger than Symon. So he swallows his glower, and ignores him instead. "I'll catch you later." Nodding to the girls. "Mr and Mr. King." And he heads out.

"Symon. Want a ride?"

"See you, Sy." A smile.

"Later, Symon. You and I can push for dark colors on that logo" Gerd nods

"Oh. Uh, sure? I mean yes, that would be appreciated." Especially if he can help deflect Ann Marie's loving wrath... or wrathful love... or whatever it may be.

Jaymes nods a farewell to the Mountain and Symon.

Frank nods and gets his keys and puts on his boots. He pauses to kiss Siv. "Be right back."

"Ccome, Symon. Ever ridden in an 18 wheeler?"

Siv smiles at her dad "Love you, da"

"Can't say I have. Promise not to pull the horn?" He grins a little.

"Oh, Dagmar - you'll keep track of the lance until the Chief gets it? Just want to make sure it's not where it might go missing. What with the competition and all."

"Not in a residential area, no." Frank agrees.

"Yeah. I'll watch it."

He nods to her, trusting her to do so. "See you soon. Unless I'm grounded. Then I'll see you in another lifetime." Heading up into the truck.

"Uhg. Here's hoping!"

Frank leads him down to the parking lot and drives him home.

He glances over at Frank during the ride. "Uh, so.. you're really not mad? About Siv running off on a trip?"

Frank exhales. "Siv is a wilder."
