"Uh... hey." A sheepish smile at Jaymes and she holds up the glowing Lance again. "We won?"

Jaymes looks at the lance, nods, then looks her over (Nothing broken? You're not hurt?)

She nods back. (Hale & whole!)

Another glance at the lance, then to her, LONG Nod, chin up (Proud of you)

Siv whispers to her dad "Why don't they just.. talk?"

She beams.

Forewarning Grunt mumble from Jaymes to his daughter (Going to hug you now, in front of your friends. Probably going to embarrass you. ) fair warning

Frank glances at Siv. "Nothing wrong with how they communicate with each other, Siv. Your mom and I don't have to speak, often, but know what the other means or is thinking. Can come in handy."

Mumble-shrug. (Well, ok)

Siv sighs "I doubt I'll ever have someone in my life I can do that with then."

A faint smile. "You're our chatterbox, Siv." Kindly.

Jaymes moves and hugs his daughter, lance and all! "Was worried" He admits "Glad you're back" Dagmar is a big girl, and yet for a moment she almost vanishes in the squeeze.

A bit of purple. "We wanted to help."

Siv blushes "Sppose someone has to be." But smiles at her own father, "Sorry if we worried you, Dad. But... it was clear we wouldn't be of the final three whoever those will be. So we had to do.. something you know?"

A grunt nod from Jaymes "We know. Your mother is still going to make your favorite food tonight though"

"....Am I grounded?"

A pause. "Did we miss Pennons?" Stricken!

Frank nods. "I know, Siv."

"no, and no." Jaymes says.

Siv leans against her own dad.

Jaymes gets an impulsive hug.

Speaking up, from when he had been paging through ttext after text. "I think I am."

Jayme smiles.

"Your dad?"

"Yeah - Ann Marie might understand, but he's a muggle and I missed a bunch of school... and ran off... and didn't even leave a note." A wince.

"Maybe your mom can help?"

A small frown and shrug.

"I mean, you were leading a quest to help save the Lodge..."

"nothing a little chicanery can't help with" Gerd says

"...Math camp?"

"Quiz bowl tournament?"

"....Maybe?"

Gerd says "Special Community project with credit under Mr. Gardner, who being a new teacher, forgot to file the proper forms?"

"Ha."

Perking up a bit, he looks more hopeful.

"I would bet Anne Marie can and will take care of it."

"You're one of us, Symon. We'll help" Siv says

Gerd nods "Anything for his highness"

Jaymes blinks "Highness?"

"Symon was a Prince there. I was still a knight."

He flushes a mottled color. "It was just a game, though."

"Well, you were our leader. Game or no." Stubborn.

Jaymes looks at Symon "Dagmar says it's so. It's so. " Another look to Symon "Thank you."

Siv looks at her father, "Dad. How have things been here? "
