"Like.. like... the Seven Seas of Rhye?" She takes the telescope, checking. "Or.. whassit.. Honna-Lee with Puff?"

"I mean, Jersey to Jersey isn't that far..."

"Well, let's try it" She gets at the helm feeling her hands on it. "Oh she's got a good feel to her. Different from the kestrel but... ha. yes well, of course she would be."

"Well, she's yours"

"yeah, all mine" Pleased "Oh but I need a ccrew..she may take orders but it's slow going without a crew. Hold on though... " A deep breath "To the Dreaming to wherever a friend might need me!"

It starts to almost leap so it can go REALLY Deep. Siv realizes what she's done "Oh. why do I always just do things." SPLASH

"Okay, this might be far..."

"How many friends do you have in the Dreaming?"

"I really don't know, not like Id' remember most of..." And they are swallowed into the Dreaming.

AN hour later, they burst out back in the lake, their mission to the Dreaming done... SIv says "Well, you're the one who gets to explain to the Hearth how she needs to store a metric TON of Squid for the eating"

Dag blinks. "Did we... was that... "

"Good to see Zara again though... wish they'd just let me drop them off all the way... I mean, the have a river nearby I think but she's SO secretive... but hey, cut their travel time back a lot .. I'm glad they got the... "Her brows knit "Oh blast, whatever it was"

Flyswater has killed a lot of squid

"She's weeeird. "

"Hmph. Gotta clean Flyswatter. She smells like squid guts."

"Well, that's because you killed a squid.." She gestures to the massive amount of giant squid left behind on the deck, "Seriously? Once you cut us free you could have stopped."

"I... did?"

"You dont' remember anything?" A smile "Huh ... I'm really tempted to make up an outlandish tale right now, but as you're a Gwydion you'd know I was full of it."

"Was I badass?"

Siv looks at her, "You were amazing." True. Then in a lower fond voice "And still are"

A bit of purple. "Well, okay."

"I remember the squid was commanded to attack us..sovereign I think... it swarmed over... tried to pull us under. A large tentacle was going to slam down on someone... you moved them aside... took the hit sort of... and then ... yeah, went to town."

"You think it's edible?"

It vaguely does sound right... if Dagmar tries real hard, she remembers that weird sluagh friend of Siv. her odd boyfriend...this gorgeous guy with spit curl and.. yeah, a really sweet blond fellow too...great hair. There was also someone who tried to jump INTO the squid's beak to 'seek out weak points'..or is that something else? Very blurry. The order it happened in is all choppy.

"Yeah. That's one thing everyone agreed on." They pull up to the short line, and it takes a bit, but they clear the squid off, at least the biggest best looking chunks.

"Was there a... mouse?"

"Man, Kerri is gonna freak."

"On my ship ? I.. " A pause "You know, I ..maybe?"

"And she'll find a way to give it to others in the barony if she really has too much of it. " A snicker "Can you imagine some food drive finding out they've got like LOADS of Squid?"

"I bet Symon and Dirk will love it."

"For different reasons, but, you know."

A wince "Am I bad person that I don't want to see EITHER one of them eat any?"

"...no."

"Thanks. " they lug the last of the tentacle off... and an eyeball (The sepia inside is useful) then Siv sighs and mops. LOTS of mopping.

"Maybe we can use this to go bane-weapon hunting, later?"

"My very thought" She says and wonce her ship is clean, and they are off it, she takes the bottle goes to shore, and calls out "Narwhal... homeport!"

And the ship turns into spray and flows into the bottle.

"Ok, THAT is useful."

"And I can carry it almost anywhere and.." A smile "And I don't have to build a second pier or anything"

She hugs the big bottle "And it's mine"

"Win!"

The Girl seems to have a look of bliss. Dagmar might recognize it as something to similar to the expression on her own face when she is brushing a horse

"It's a good boat, Siv."

"She's a wonderful ship"

A squeeze, of the bottle, then "let's be off"

"Sure!"

And to the car they go... and back to the lodge.

With a TRUNK full of squid.
