Siv nods "That's all any of us want, Dagmar. Well... okay. I wish I had a hand in it to help but there's no denying mom's the best storm around. She's in like flyn."

"Sure, Chief's the best."

"... no chance of Jaymes or Tove, right?"

"Not likely... you can't just promote folks like it's a baseball team at the world series. I think the Dreaming would knhow if we tried a switchero?"

Gerd is getting up slowly and checking out some books.. some of Frank's books.

"Hey, those are dad's.." Siv says.

"The ones he doesn't want us looking at he doesn't keep here" Gerd replies and reads "And some of these notes are Olgars'"

"Olgar... like, he might know where weapons would be?"

"More like he... " A gulp from Gerd "Oh wow we might be able to do it"

"Like what? He what?"

"Uncle Vali was joking... but he..he's right... somewhere in the Dreaming has to be at least one Dragonlance that survived the imaginings of the ancient 80s"

"Well, sure!"

"You know who we'd need?"

"Even if it's ... wobbly, it could likely be forged more solid.. infused... Strengthened by a really good smith" Gerd goes on

"Symon.. we'd need Symon" Siv's head jerks up

"Symon knows everything about Dungeons and Dragons..."

"Oh great..hey Symon want to go on a quest for a weapon that we hope got dreamed of hard enough?" Gerd says "Oh.. we might die getting it"

"Oh, come ON."

"We aren't gonna die just getting a weapon."

"Dagmar's right... a dragon is one thing, but we're not going after the dragon, wer'e going after a dreamed up weapon to helps KILL the dragon. Don't be such a debbiedowner, Gerd" Siv says

"And if it's a Dungeon-crawl... man, not a trick Symon doesn't know.."

"Dungeon Crawl, Dungeon Crawl" Siv says

"Okay, so we figure out where the, like, book realm is..."

"We're not even thinking of letting the grumps go after this are we?" Gerd looks at them like they're bonkers

"They have other stuff to do..."

"SO busy" Siv says

"So we turn up with the weapon, we'd be helping..."

"Right. Maybe we can't fight this dragon, but we can damn sure make certain they've got what they need." Siv says

GErd shrugs "Then we should totes get a couple of rings of fire resistance while we're in D&D dream land"

Siv grins.

"JOKE... J-O-K-E....JOKE" Gerd says

"Well, I mean... the Dreaming has lots of stuff?"

"And we go in, and find a dragon slaying weapon.. even if we don't find a dragonlance, we'll find something forged of Dreamer's dreams and Symon should know plenty. We can do this" Siv says "We can make a difference"

"Are you two sure Sylvi is the cheerleader?" Gerd says

"Better to do something than just sit around, Gerd."

"Great... well, if we're not letting the adults handle this I better go with you. I might be able to pour us out of the dreaming randomly in case of emergecy" A pause "Besides, SOMEONE who has sense needs to go along"

"Never seen a troll go from childling straight to grump until now" Siv looks at Gerd, then to Dagmar "Have you, Dag?"

"It's a miracle!"

"See those long grey whiskers on her chin?"

"So.much.hate" Gerd crosses her arms.

Siv chuckles

"You love us."

"UNfortunately" Gerd says "yes."

SIv gives Gerd a hug "One of us. One of us. One of us."

"Okay.. the movie Freaks is cool" Gerd says.

"There's a movie called that?" Siv blinks.
