She waves to him. "More trouble at the Lake Trod, Dad?"

"Might be easier to list all the lodge..." She takes the paper and starts adding names. A distracted wave to Olgar.

"Giant Crab situation has me wondering if I missed a trod, or if there's just a couple of dreamers going there regularly. Good work on the crab by the way, Dagmar. How you two girls doing?"

"Doing okay. Talking about the New Guy."

"Have you met him yet?" she asks her father.

"Nah, I figure my mug might not be the best ambassodar , at least not on my own. Last enchanted I saved almost dived back towards the monster" A chuckle, "Stupid kid. Of course, that one wasn't kinain. I hear this one is sidhe blooded? ANd has some dangerous book?"

"Chief has the book, now. But yeah."

"I heard about the book. Some kind of gaming thing?"

"Sounds like somebody made a big mess of Right of Ignorance there."

"Well, the troll looked like Chief, too."

"You can bet the Chief will want to follow that up, or have one of us do it." Olgar nods to both girls

"And Chief seemed kinda freaked out by the sluagh - some albino?"

"Albino?" Olgar scratched his chin, "Son of a gun. Huh. Oh yeah...someone took it old school."

"Oh, Siv thinks Adam looks like Hemlock. I don't think i see it, but you guys know him better than me..."

"Hemlock's not a look, he's a lifestyle" Olgar snorts

"Old school?"

A smirk at her father about Hemlock. "Da-ad."

"Yeah ... fine. Wonder what moron made that book? Either way, good thing it got brought in. This Adam seems to be playing along so far. I mean, he took the oath"

"You don't think...." Sylvi bites her lip and cuts herself off.

"Go ahead, Rugmonster, Dad didn't raise you to just meekly bow your head and bury your thoughts"

"Well, it'd make sense that his bio-dad is the changeling if his mom is normal and boring."

"Dad, can we cut out the Rugmonster thing?" A pained look. Then, "Well...Vali did write the whole Silverhand thing. Maybe he wrote other stuff, too?"

"I'll work on it, Princess" Olgar makes no promises, Then a ponder "Mmm... I can't see it. I mean, his House is almost more secretive than the Eiluned. ALMOST. Doesn't mean you're wrong, but I just don't see him breaking the Escheat"

"I dunno, that book seemed REALLY complete... I don't know if Vali would do that.."

"If you mention it to him, be cautious. He's a mite touchy about being accused of stuff. NOt that he's been around the last few days."

"Oh yeah, Siv said..."

"Yeah, I guess....I mean, the Silverhand books sort of reference stuff, but not totally complete."

"Hey, if this is a game... bet there's a forum or a subreddit or something..."

"Okay, maybe we should leave the internet research up to you wilders" Olgar scratches his chin, "I got bit by the cloud.." A brow at his daughter "Recently"

"Symon would probably know places to check, too."

An innocent blink at her father. "Could have been a LOT worse, Dad."

"Huh, Symon's all right.. maybe enlist his aid. Sides,, he's part of the lodge now so let's keep him in the loop ... you two want to work with him on this?"

"Oh, I think Symon would love going all investigation-y on this. Want to see if we can find him, Dagmar?"

Dag nods. "We can, sure...."

The 'innocent look' was not lost on Olgar. "mmm and your mom thinks you get it from me. ha. sure right"

"Of course, we could also go to the game store."

"Hey," she points out to her dad, "I'm not the one who took the videos, okay?"

Her father seems deaf in 'that ear'

"I wonder if there's a werewolf game, too?"

"Hmph. C'mon, Dagmar, let's go find out."

"Store or Symon?" She brushes the dirt off her jeans.

"You two have fun. Sylvi? Check in if you're going to be gone more than two hours. Your mother might have plans."

"How about..." as they're walking off "you text the new guy, I text Symon, and we head to the store. If he can't talk to me, he can at least talk to you."

"'Kay, Dad." She waves absently as they go.

"Fair enough. Like telephone!"

"'xactly." Sylvi's tapping away with a message for Symon: TXT: Can you meet us at that gaming store at the plaza? Weird stuff going on, need another set of eyes.
