"Mind if I witness this tussle of the titans?"

A shrug. "Fine by me."

Sam might hear a 'blurp' sound from the lake behind her.

"Okay by me..." A frown and a squint. "You hear that?"

"What?"

"On the lake?" She searches, shielding her eyes from glare with her hand.

Adam glances out there.

The lake shimmers with bubbles as it changes color

at least, to fae eyes...

and possibly Adam's

Siv turns and sees "holy shit, it's turn the color of the sea"

Adam doesn't seem to see it.

"Might be a trick of the light..."

"right.of course" Siv says coughing

"Siv?" She claps the older girl on the back.

Yup. The mortals. don't notice it.

"You ok?" Concerned.

"Oh... yeah ... just swallowed something wrong for a second." She says

The giant chimerical crab rises out of the water and clacks about.

"Soda?" He offers his.

Siv looks at Sam then looks at the crab

"Or I can go get you one."

"If you'd get me one that'd be great" She hands over two quarters "Thanks. Sprite or 7 up"

A grin. "My treat." He doesn't take the money but goes to get her one.

Sam blushes again, distracted... oh right, crab!

Once Adam clears - "Well, it can't hurt the humans, right?"

"I don't know... but we have a problem..." As the crab clambers towards Zane and Nadeen. "We can't let it eat the kithain" she whispers "You got fly swatter handy?"

"Sure. But, like, how do we not look like crazy people?"

"I don't know" She admits "I know how to keep Adam distracted but then you'd be on your own."

Adam is having trouble finding a sprite in that case.

No Seven up. A mountain dew? Would that do?

Dagmar purples. "Oh. Oh, right."

"I mean, I'm sure the three of us could handle it..."

She looks unhappy.

"I..." Siv notices the look, "If you have a better idea?"

Tanya/Nadeen is rolling back as the Crab lumbers towards her, reaching for her own sword.

He looks up and calls "Hey Siv, would...." and freezes, mouth open, eyes wide.

"I don't." She gets to her feet and snags Flyswatter.

"Hey Adam" The tall Girl in the bikini says.

Fish-mouth movements.

"Oh boy" Siv moves towards Adam. He might see the rapier bounce against her hip.

"Zane, Nadeen!" Dagmar trots over, Flyswatter at the ready!

Flyswatter in her hand, Dagmar sees Nadeen backing away the Crab lunges but she rolls

"I think I gping crazy, I really do..." but he doesn't sound scared. He sounds awed.

The trolless bring her halberd down in a wicked slice - she aims to lop off a claw, leg & all.
