"I know Uncle Vali nearly died" Gerd frowns, her dark lipstick making a evening hue frown, "I'm emailing Thane Tiffany. She deserves to know. "

"Whoa...um...maybe you should call her instead of email, if you have her number? That's not email-type news for a girlfriend to hear, y'know?"

"And...you okay?" Sylvi asks, watching Gerd.

Dag fills up a plate of chicken, and munches through. It seems the shower helped her mood and appetite both.

Tove takes a breath and relaxes and whispers to Kerri and Brekke, "I swear to god when I saw her out there shaken and lost and overwhelmed i almost slammed Kerri out of the way to get to her. I'm sorry, Hearth. Glad I realized who it was...and... is it ..always like that? " The new mother says startled, "the... drive to make the world back the hell off from her when she's hurting?"

Gerd looks at Sylvi "I'm not happy about it , no"

The goth troll sighs "I guess maybe I should give Uncle Vali a chance to clal her then. That way he's less in trouble? M aybe?"

"Maybe you should come downstairs and see him?" Sylvi suggests.

"Yeah, that's a good idea."

Kerri gives Tove a wan grin. "It is. And it is a hard one to fight." Brekke just sighs, nods, and takes a LONGER sip of coffee.

Kerri continues, "Also...Tove, I know you didn't like the way I spoke when Dagmar was, well, pushing. I apologize for that...but I was trying to focus."

The mothers all whispering together, hopefully low enough not to be heard by the younger set.

Gerd gets up grabs her cell phone, gets a look, then nods at something heading down the steps.

Tove nods, then at Kerri's apology she says "I was hardly an unbiased individual there. Apology accepted and I understand. Dagmar might... well, if she seems skittiish around you, please clarify to her if you feel you need to?"

Sylvi follows Gerd down the steps.

Gerd walks by Vali "Uncle Vali" SHe hugs him "I'm SO glad you're alive. And well. I'ts lame but I love you."

Kerri nods to Tove. "I will, if needed."

"Hey." A Gerd & Sylvi appear.

Vali is s tartled and returns the hug, "Hey, hey, it's cool. Everyone will be all right." He smiles

only to find that he has Gerd's phone ringing in his hand, and then picking up. "Gerd I think you left your..." then he hears a voice "AH.. TIFFFANYyy..."

Gerd walks off leaving Uncle Vali her phone and joining Dagmar muttering "That's for scaring me."

"Hey." Sylvi says to Dagmar. "Um...I know Stormwake was still outside. Can I make sure he's brushed down okay?" Yes, asking permission of Dagmar to tend the horse.

Then Sylvi shoots Gerd a wide-eyed look and mutters, "Oh, you're evil sometimes." It seems to be meant as a compliment.

Her eyes go wide. "Stormwake! I didn't.. oh... oh, shit.."

Tove actually fights a laugh at Vali's scrambling, then looks chagrinned.

"Stormwake is fine," Siv comes down freshly showered and NOT mentioning the clothes bundle left on her floor

"You sure? We should check..."

Brekke was giving Sylvi a curious look, but then says to Dagmar, "Do not worry, but if you wish to check on him, you should do so. Both of you." She nods to Sylvi to go as well.

Siv grins "Yeah, you two horse loves leavee us ship lovers to eat"

Sylvi sticks her tongue out at Siv.

She nods. "Okay. C'mon, Sylvi. Have you met him yet? He's amazing. He's not black, he's the color of a thundercloud..."

"I saw him, but I haven't really met him. I wonder if he'd like Lanark?" She follows Dagmar out.

"No..well yes.. there is SOMETHING but first, let me assure you with the words that matter. I'm alive an I'm safe home so..." that logic seems to not work. A yip of exicatable questions from the other line and demands for answers

"Well, I think they'd both get all puffy maybe. Boys, right? Gotta be the best..."

At the word 'best' Stormwake turns. Clearly someone is talking about him

"Hey... hey boy, sorry I left you." She extends a hand.

The muzzle goes into the palm. Dagmar senses that respect that was lacking before, then he wickers and looks suspiciously at Sylvi

Brekke looks to Vali and listens to his side of the conversation, partially amused, partially concerned.

Tove looks guilty, she's enjoying Vali's scrambling.

Sylvi stands where she is. "Stormwake, my name is Sylvi. It's good to meet you." She stays very still, and offers her hand to be sniffed at.

"Heya." Pets!

"Sylvi's a good rider, she knows lots about horses."

A snift, and recognition then some guard is dropped as Dagmar speaks for her

This isn't like most of the farm horses Sylvi has seen. Though he is a bit like Lanark.

Kerri murmurs to Brekke and Tove, "We're not out of the woods, yet. The Leanhaun threat is still out there."

"Isn't he beautiful?"

Tove's smile sours, "Aye." She whispers "They may target our dreamers"

Sylvi grins at Dagmar, then pets Stormwake's nose. "He's really impressive."
