Kerri listens to Dagmar, then looks at Brekke and Frank. "Your permission, Storm, Mountain?" She's rising and hefting the emergency kit.

"Wait," Brekke responds to Kerri, watching Siv's face...and yes, looking a bit lighter on Glamour herself than might be good for her.

Dagmar guides Tove as much as she guides Vali... and Vali does go to the lodge, but assures Dagmar "Siv and I will both be fine, Dagmar. You got us back in time"

"...uh-huh..."

"Siv...?" Alarmed, Brekke checks to see if she has any dross on herself, pulls out a coin and snaps it in two pieces, then the two in twain again.

All that glamour going to her daughter.

Siv's eyes open "Oh.. wow.. that.." she laughs weakly, VERY weakly "That was wild"

Vali settled by the fire, Dagmar starts back for outside. "Siv?"

But her wounds seem much more healed...

"Take her inside, Storm," Kerri says. She doesn't say Chieftain...she's clearly leveraging her Lodge rank.

Brekke, looking strained but relieved at Siv's comment, nods obediently and rises, gathering her daughter up with Frank's assistance. The family heads to the Lodge.

Kerri looks back at the door where Dagmar stands. "You need to show me where, Dagmar." All business.

"Mum..what the hell?" Siv says "You're barely here..."

Brekke just shakes her head, focused on getting them before the balefire.

"The car?"

"Yes." She looks at the horse. "Tove, will you set out a pail of water for Stormwake?" she calls to the Lodge.

"Yes certainly"

"It was by the part where the road turns, the ravine..."

"Show me," Kerri repeats, starting off and visually assessing the girl...she said she wasn't hurt, but....

Brekke insists that both Vali and Siv sit near the balefire, and she sits a bit further away.

Dagmar nods, and starts walking. She's no long hyperventilating, but she seems a bit... away.

At some point, she dropped Flyswatter and Vali's blood decorates her voile.

Tove resists the urge to say "Watch her"

"Can you take us there through the trees?" Kerri asks. "And where is your weapon?"

"I.. I don't... I had to hold Vali.... I don't know..."

Inside, Siv says to her mother "You kept trying to.. mom... you'll do no one good draining yourself to frazzle and costing the folks their chieftain. I'm not worth that"

She wavers between going forward to the ravine, or back to halberd-hunt.

"You are worth everything," Brekke says grimly. "What happened?"

Kerri puts a hand on Dagmar's shoulder. "We will find it. But right of life, first."

"I'll be back." Once his family is settled, Frank heads out after Kerri and Dagmar.

"Tove...I know you wish to go with him," Brekke says as Frank heads out. "We are well."

Brekke watches Frank as he leaves.

He looks -grim-...

"It was the nocker. The liar. He had a gun." She starts again towards the scene of the fight.

"I..thank you" Tove heads out

"Come on, Tove." Frank welcomes his sister in law as he starts to move faster after the other two.

They find the wreckage... and...

Frank immediately descends into the ravine, hand over hand through the wreckage, looking....

The first thing they notice is the nocker is gone... no body there ...

the second thing they find is Flyswatter, sticking out from the wreckage like its ready to declare someone king of detroit

"Oh."

"Well," Kerri says, "That's one mystery solved. Can you get it free, Dagmar?" She is scanning the area to see if there's a trace of which way the nocker went.

"Damnit."

Flyswatter comes free easily...and for a moment, glistens triumphantly with the tiny scrap bits of its enemy
