She hooks the driver's door, as she slips Fly swater in, then, her own might starts to pull the door... and

The nocker curses and tries to swerve the car into Dagmar and Stormwake!

Only to have Stormwake pull to the side and..

IS she strong enough to beat a car?

with his might added to Dagmar's, the rider and horse RIP the driver door off even as Stormwake makes sure they aren't hit by the side of it! The horse gives a furious equine challenge!

Doesn't this stupid vehicle know a thunderbird can never outmatch a mustang?!

Fran blinks , stunned... as someone just tore his car door off with a PULL of a weapon? horse's help or not "Muthafurking hell!"

Dagmar flings the door away from them. "Jagoff!"

"Dead bitch" He says leveling the gun at her and ...

Siv's rapier slides through the roof again, spoiling his shot, causing it to fire up

"GET VALI ON THE DAMNED HORSE" SIV yells "Before we crash!"

"Stormwake, c'mon..." Charging closer again, and using the hooked side of Flywatter's head to yank Vali from the hood.

Stormwake fearllessly does so! Taking her commands with a trust that perhaps was not there a moment ago, no more than a trust, respect. The animal will follow her commands ... and quicker than you can say 'she is worthy' Dagmar grabs the net with Flyswatter and holds his bleeding and wounded form aloft... but can she hold a full sized troll with one arm?

Dagmar grits her teeth as she hefts Vali up.

Siv stabs down again, this time impaling the nocker through the shoulder.

The horse whinies, not out of fear but warning... sharp turn ahead! That metal steed is gonna crash!

"SIV! JUMP!"

Dag works to keep her seat and to keep Vali in balance as Stormwake veers and turns.

Siv looks up at the curb "SHIT!" And jumps!

It is not Siv's most graceful leap, but to her credit, she is bleeding, wounded, tired... and doing it from a car swerving wildly at 30 miles and hour onto the back of a horse!

She flops like a gutted fish rather than lands like a gazelle... and it is to Stormwake's credit that he takes the sudden weight with but a brief grimace and turns... turns with the manueverablity even an un iced car does not have.

Dagmar fumbles to draw Vali in, dumping him in front of her like a sack of flour.

The wounded Fran tries to turn with one arm rendered useless and... does not make it in time. His car smashes through a sign, whams against a tree, and flips over the edge of an incline

Vali's entrails can be seen

Dag goes ash-grey. "Oh, fuck."

SIv says "Dag.. I'm blackin.. blacvking out..get us back...lodge... up to you..." and goes limp

Only when Dagmar turns her head does she realize Siv's been shot not once, but twice in her exploits with the nocker

"Stormwake.... I'm... I.. I'm gonna put Siv on your back, too, right?"

"I'll get off, so it won't be too heavy..." She swallows, but she's starting to hyperventilate.

Well, Siv is already on the backbehind.. and Vali is in front... and the horse turns and ...despite the weight of three trolls does not give her time to dismount... he's racing back towards the lodge.

Dag keeps a hold of the pair of them, steadying...

this can't be good for him... but with a look that says "Pussy cats mew, Horses DO!' the testosterone laden animal ignores the aching knees (all four of them) and keeps up speed to ride back onto the hold's grounds

And very much not looking at Vali's guts...

The horse stops and Siv slides off... with a roll thump. Vali is threatening to..and if he does, those entrails will just go willy nilly. The chief is in there... she can heatherbalm, one or both.

"CHIEF!" A bellow, voice cracking in near panic.

She slides off the horse's back, but doesn't move Vali. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, he can't move yet.."

Stormwake seems to understand, but he does make a demanding sound as if he too is calling for the Chieftain

Vali mutters something... "a wilder will die under the talons of a thunderbird...I'm a wilder...heh...got one right.." coughing

"So's the fucking nocker. Don't you fucking die!"

as his face grows very pale, and his mein dims a bit more, like a blue moon under clouds..."haverheal...Siv..first. " and he passes out again.

Perhaps... his last breath.

And Dagmar's call for Chief calls out like Thunder

"CHIIIEEEEFFFF!" Another crack, a sob.

Brekke rounds the corner of the Lodge, Speaker in hand, ready for a battle. She is NOT ready for the sight in front of her, and it shows in her face. "HEARTH! MOUNTAIN!" she bellows as she charges over to Dagmar on the horse.
