"Prom was great," she says "met an old friend." She seems in an excited mood "My life is one grand adventure, what's not to love?"

"Hey Siv."

"Prom? Where were you?"

Bix sighs

Siv looks around then satisified, "Earth Runes."

Sylvi's jaw drops. "EarthRunes had a party? And Colton didn't tell me?"

"Ohhhh, sheee-it."

"Excuse me a moment." She grabs her phone and rapidly jabs a text into it.

"Oh my big mouth" SIv says "it was a small party, just graduates... folks who didn't attend a ceremony... Sylvi, don't text anything you'll regret"

"someone's in Trooouble" Bix mutters

Sylvi blinks, then looks at her phone, then back at Siv. "Oh."

Her phone buzzes, and she looks at it and winces. "Oh."

Far more subdued keying in response.

Dag rubs the back of her neck, still stewing.

"Yeah, I got invited because I know someone there" Siv says

She's blushing now.

"You mean somebody who was graduating?"

Her phone buzzes again, and she replies as the conversation continues.

"Right. She took online courses. I think there were like 7 folks at this graduprom thing... well, if you don't count families and a few of the hold?"

"You okay, Dagmar?" Siv says

"Uh.. yeah, I guess."

Pause. "Do you think I'm weird?"

Sylvi glances up at Dagmar's question, and then looks a Bix, then Siv.

"In our family? Who isn't weird." Siv says "I'm an imaginary girl made real somehow, with a saililng obsession who rarely gets to get on a ship. Sylvi's life is a buffy the vampire slayer rerun with her as at least three of the female characters at once when she's not diplomating ... Gerd? Well, lord help her... she's got a past life so recent stepping on her she can probably hear him breathing. Honest to gosh, Dagmar, out of the wilders, I think you're the closest to what folks expect of a 'normal' troll. Dedicated, strong, and humble. If I thought about how much more like my mother you are than I am I'd probably be insecure about it." A wink

"Oh." Another pause. "Okay."

Sylvi sticks her tongue out at Siv, but then shrugs. "Buffy's old-school but badass."

Siv grins "You're just worried I'm placing Cordelia before Buffy on the list of characters . I can tell" TO SYlvi. then she turns to Dagmar "WHat's this about you being weird? who started that nonsense?"

Bix looks away

Sylvi smirks at Siv.

Siv notices that and frowns "Bix, I don't care how cute you are... don't talk smack about my fam"

Then says, "Um...I think...some assumptions got made a lot. On all sides. Fair?" she asks Dagmar and Bix.

"He didn't.." She frowns and flushes. "Just.. I was just..."

"Ain't nuthin'."

"Yeah, my apologies" Bix says

"S'cool."

Sylvi looks at her phone, and SMILES.

Siv nods to Dagmar "Okay. Well, then that's that. I think you're pretty awesome, Dagmar. HEck, I should take you to Earth runes sometime if Sylvi goofy grin there doesn't beat me to it"

"Hey! My grin is not goofy." Even if it kind of is.

"Um. Sure."

"Sylvi, you think we should tell Chief about the nocker guy?"

That makes her go serious, fast. "Oh, yeah. Absolutely."

Siv's head whips around "Wait, waht nocker guy?"

"Bix, you should be there."

Bix sighs and looks miserable

"I'm sorry, man."

A blink at Siv. "Um...a guy...he said his car broke down and it needed fixing, but Dagmar figured out he was lying."

"Seemed like he was...digging for info? And...and..." She looks at Bix, not sure what else to say.

"What was his name?" Siv says

"I was the one who introduced him, he told ME it was Fran..err Francis" Bix says

Sylvi shoves her phone away, no more multitasking for the moment.
