"Well, my dad would freak if Colton were anywhere near my room these days. So I think he'll stay downstairs. Here...not too tight, and not too low on your eyebrows...and...just a bit below your horns...and we move your hair over like this so it looks all casual, right? There...what do you think? Maybe a little retro, but it's kind of cute, right?"

"Yeah, I can see it." She nods then "And i'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt your date"

"Hey, it's okay. Crisis averted, right? And if you want, tonight you and I can go through my stuff, see what other scarves and kerchiefs and stuff I have that would look good on you until this goes away. Sound good?"

"It helps. And.. thanks. I'd hug you but I feel like I'd give it to you.. I KNOW that's not how it works, but still"

Sylvi rolls her eyes. "Totally NOT how it works. C'mere." And she holds her arms out for a hug.

"Souncool" Gerd says but her hug belies her words as she gives Sylvi a hug

Gerd gets squoze.

"Okay, so you rock your cool new style. Colton and I are gonna go out...if you're okay?"

"Yeah, go have fun." She motions.

"Okay." But she checks to see if Gerd looks like she means it.

She does.

Hard to tell for sure, she has troll stoic face, but she seems sincere.

"I....you...could come with us," she says slowly, trying not to cringe. "We're going swimming." Sorry, Colton....

"Yeah? I.." Gerd ponders...

"Nah.. I'm good. You two have fun"

"Okay. But you and I are going swimming sometime this week, okay?" Another quick hug, then a measuring look. "You know, I really like that look on you!" And she means it. But then she's hurrying off to her room, calling out, "Down in 5 minutes, Colton, promise! Pet a dog or something!" Door slam.

A hug "Okay okay..." A smile.

"Petting petting" He calls up, and indeed seems to be swamped as the dogs hear the magic word

And in five minutes (maybe less), Sylvi is hurrying down the stairs. She's wearing what she was wearing before, but has her hair tied back and carries a couple of towels. "Okay, let's go!"

"Yeah, sure" He grabs his backpack.

She beams and all but runs out of the Lodge, grabbing his hand.

And off they go... the lake is not too far away if you know the way. And the short cuts and are young... by the time they get there, they can see crowds of young folks have taken over some of the piers, docks.

Sylvi has made some evasive comment about Gerd's tribulations -- "Like I said, a fashion crisis, but she'll be fine" -- and she doesn't seem too dismayed by the crowd. After all...she's a cheerleader. They'll make room. Any friends around?

As a matter of fact, yeah.. another cheer leader on her squad , Jessi waves.

Sylvi waves back. "Hey, there's Jessi. C'mon." She tugs Colton along. "You remember Jessi? I must've introduced you."

"We met" he smiles at the mortal girl. Jessi has others clear a spot for them.

"Yay! Colton, right? Hey." Jessi then grins "Sylvi! Summer time FINALLLY"

"SO finally!" Sylvi agrees as she sets down beach towels for her and Colton. "Looks like everybody had the same good idea...this place is a zoo!"

"Yeah, little wild," Jessi admits, "Which is okay I guess until some asshole drops a plastic bottle in the water. Like? HELLLOOOO... we're supposed to be smarter than the older generation about the planet am I rite?"

Sylvi shoots a smile at Colton, then says, "Totally right." She starts taking off her t-shirt to reveal her swimsuit, and...oh, this is not a swimsuit that Colton has seen before. It might not be entirely Kerri-approved. It's almost certainly not Rover-approved. Black with an irridescent sheen, two-piece, and those two pieces don't cover a whole lot of territory.

Colton's mouth opens a little, then he smiles, "That's a great suit."

"Whooo rockin it" Jessi agrees

OH yeah, male heads whip around to admire.

Sylvi smiles and poses, and gives Colton a wink. "Thought you'd like."

Colton grins, "Well, you werent' wrong." And he starts to pull his shirt off.

Sylvi tries to look nonchalant, chatting with Jessi, but Colton's own disrobing keeps drawing her attention back.

Jessi blushes but peeks anyway.

Prosthetic aside, he is one cut guy even in mortal form.

And then he kicks his pants off, revealing the trunks under. "I might have come prepared"

"I might be glad," she laughs. "This is not the place for tighty-whities." She looks at the prosthetic, seeing the lovely glass glitter in the sun, even if the mortals can't. "Jessi, watch our stuff for us?" And she heads for the end of a pier, hips swaying maybe a little dangerously.

"Sure..." She says.

Colton grins, and gives a mounting chase, building up speed behind Sylvi.

She senses his pursuit, and laughs, hurrying to get to the end of the pier first and dive in!

She manages to avoid getting scooped up by him...diving in gracefully.Then she hears his voice "Cannonball!"

And she is still gasping from the cold water when she gets the deluge from his splash!

SO Hard to look cool when you're freezing, ironicly.

And Colton moves in the water and gives her a playful playful grab, one she can avoid easily

She splutters. "Hey!" A quick backstroke to get a bit of distance...but not too fast.

Smiling at him as she moves further out into the water.

"Just when you thought it was safe to go to the water huh?" He advances.
