Siv has moved to block the other way.

"And the pits?" Brekke demands.

Dag bites back a comment.

A flicker of response to the word corby...and she kenns him.

No glamour in this one. Not a lick.

"Almost killed a dog..." She grumbles.

"The pits," Brekke demands again. "Your work?"

"Don't know what you're talking about" Lie.

"wasn't me.." He shrugs . Yep. lying.

Siv looks to the two Gwydions

"LIAR!" Bared teeth.

"No? Not you?" She nods at his feet. "We have tracks. The size looks right."

As Dagmar calls him a liar, he scowls but continues to lie to the ranger "Lots of folks have shoes my size. " Sorta true "I didn't do it." Lie

Brekke looks like she's one step away from taking a swing at the guy...but she merely growls, "Identification."

He reaches into his pocket.....or looks ready to, and then he runs!

Siv moves and trips him causing the man to stumble a bit but it doesn't down him.

Dagmar barrels after him, like a linebacker.

Well, the gymnist slowed him down, and Dagmar? Dagmar whams him HARD!

Brekke strides up after Dagmar tackles him. "That...was unwise. Identification." She demands again, without offering to help him up. "Do not make me find it myself."

Her elbow is digging into a soft part of his back. She's a teenager, but broad and solidly built.

He reaches for his pockett and pulls out his wallet. Mm yup. Devin Corby Ford. He didn't lie ,he just left his last name out. Well, he didn't lie about that.

Brekke gets his name, and his address. Is he local?

Nope. Two counties over!

Which is a long way to go to hunt and cut trees.

"Get this N****** off me will you?" The man says adding racism to his list of charming characteristics

Siv's eyes darken.

"Ah. Hate speech as well."

A quick call to authorities by the Park Ranger reveals a lot. Devin Corby Ford has been cited multiple times for unlawful use of firearms, hunting with out a licence, and assault. He's currently being sought for questioning but they sure didn't expect him to run THAT way.

Apparently, he fancies himself a 'survivalist' and a 'true American'. There are good folks out there that claim those titles... Devin is not one of them.

The call happens as soon as possible, but Brekke rests a hand on Dagmar's shoulder after the racist epithet is in the air.

Dagma bristles, eyes blazing... but she doesn't lose control.

Siv is no Gwydion, but she almost cannot believe the man... and it may occur to others that Siv, with her life at Sea and Hold... and then a school that tries to curb such things, may never have witness BLATANT racism before.

Brekke, Siv, and Dagmar work to keep the man under control while walking him to the edge of the parkland where authorities can pick him up.

Dagmar is not very gentle.

The Authorities pull him along...state troopers answered the call. The man rants about his rights and how real america will one day rise up... for TRUE Americans.

Brekke tries to keep Dagmar from actually damaging the man...but she might not try very hard.

Officer Lucy Wu is not impressed by him "Oh I got this one"

GLARE.

All of her angry teenage energy concentrated on One Dude!

Brekke nods. "Yes. Thank you, Officer."

The other officer is a old white dude, but looks at Dagmar, "You okay, young lady?"

And he says it with kindness.

Brekke gestures to Dagmar. "Sam kept her temper as this man spewed hate at her. She did very well."

At that he nods, "Good on you. The man's going away and won't be around here anymore."

"Good." she grunts.

"Ranger, from what you tell me there might be other pits out there... not normally our speciality, but if you want me to make a call?"

In the car, Wu looks ready to taser the guy if he makes one comment right now. He's got a right to stay silent, and she'd really like him to use that right.
