The AC at the school has been faulty today...and adding to the pressure is the fact while kids in the kingdom of willows are free... THIS school is still running

"We should hold a protest."

"I'm with Sam on that one, this is inhumane" One girl agrees

"The AC keeps kicking out, My pits are going to turn into swamps"

"Oh, gross Gonzales..."

"Yeah like YOU smell like a rose now" elbow

A sniff. "I do!"

"Well, none of us will if those ACs don't stay on for more then 10 minutes at a time" May says with a sigh

"Why can't we open a window?"

"Security rules... most of them are painted shut anyway"

"It's dumb."

They notice a large crowd in front of one particular class room even though it's between clases.

"Why are folks hanging around Mr. Gardener's class?"

"Weird, I dunno..." Welp, time to be a lookie-loo!

As they head to the class room where French is taught, it soon becomes ABUDANTLY clear why folks are hanging around, a pleasant chill blows within and out of the room. Dagmar can feel the glamour

"Ohhhh..." Sigh. "Nice."

"uh huh" May closes her eyes happily

"Like eating a york peppermint patty..."

And then Mr. Gardener, aka Vali says "Okay ,French students only please, class is about to begin"

all around him, winter magics, with a touch of the wyrd at play, just a touch, keep HIS room nice and borderline nippy

Sam shoots Vali a look.

The bell rings "Go on folks, enjoy your Spanish or German or whatever... "

Whimpers and groans

Vali gives a smirk at Sam

"this is like..racist or something right?" Lupita mutters. Normally she does not play that card, but for a cool room, one will dare much

"FRANCOPHILES!"

"Perfectly legal in this state" he says

"Bon jour, ladies" A certain satyr smiles as he goes into class

Snort. "Whatever, Zane."

May groans as do several others, but they're going to be late for their SCHEDULED class so they really need to go

Sigh. Trudge.

The next class goes fairly smoothly, though even the teacher looks ready to punch a hole in a window

Sam quietly melts, not payign much attention - nor is she the only one spacing out

Yes, by smooothly we mean no one gets shit for being a puddle and having no focus.

"They say we can eat outside" May says as she gets her food.

"SCORE."

"That's because there was about to be a riot in here" Gonzlalez observes

"We could, like, break the windows..."

"I think that would signal the riot" Lupita says

"True. Probably not the best choice."

Taking their food, they find a shady spot outside. Well, FIND might be the right word... others were eying the shady spot, and the three girls used their superior athletic skil (and maybe a'ours!' glare) to claim it

They might be freshman, but they're a team!

"mind if I join you?" Zane says

"Eat snails and die , Frenchie" May says then covers her mouth

"I'm sorry... the heat has gotten to me" May says
