"I'm really not in the mood, Tiffany" Vali says "My niece is screwing her life over, and hates my guts. My visions have been about as useful as a fart flavored tootsie roll, and my writing is hitting a block again"

Tiffany sighs as she pushes him down on his bed, jingling a bit as she does for some reason, "Buck up, soldier, she's a tween/tween/mean, and I know where she's been. She hates all life because she hates her life and the world isn't perfect like you told her it was."

"I never told her..." he protests then he sighs "Pooka"

"Darn right, pooka," Tiffany says "And you need a distraction... also, it's been almost a month since you know so at least let me make my recruiting pitch"

"How on earth are you going to take my mind off..." Vali says

And Tiffany starts to strip "Yes, you're lovely but I'm really wait.. why are you jingling..." He pauses as she strips off all external clothing.

Now gloriously nude except for the very special outfit she had made for this, Tiffany leans forward showing off her curves to display, "Ccmon soldier, present arms. Let's be all we can be mmm?"

"Is that..." His eyes run over her body mesmerized "Is that a.. Dog Tag Bikini? I mean, Military style dog tags turned into a..."

She shimmies and jingles "You thought we were loud before"

Vali grins, wolf like, "Well... I... need to go over each one and verifying authenticity" And feeling his oats, he reaches for her...

which is fine, as she reaches right back, tail wagging. "I'll only moan out my name, rank, and serial number"

"I respect that" He nods vigorously.

Tove looks to Dagmar "You sure you want to come with me? The trod path wil lbe dull, Rovers cleared it out" She says "And then I do some singing, all the songs you've heard before, for a bunch of kithain you never met"

"Well, maybe, but I like it when you sing.:

"and plus, I can defend you if anything happens on the trod. I got Flyswatter."

"Well, Jaymes is worried" She hurumphs a bit

"About the trod?"

"No, more about me going to strange holds I don't know. I TELL him I'm a guest, and that Safe Haven will protect me. But he's afraid that.. oh goodness sometimes he forgets I'm a troll too" SHe does not seem entirely displeased by his worry and fuss.

"Well... see, there'll be two of us. We'll be okay. I can fight."

"you sure can" She says with pride. "Come on" They take the trods Olgar suggested. 'Boring' is never quite the word for it.... even 'safe' dreaming, is still the Dreaming

And so Brekke hears the WHOLE story about Dagmar's day and the INJUSTICE

And she FROWNS. "It is not just...but there may be limits to how we may help. I would wish to speak to the baroness there. I have heard of her, but we have not met."

"Technically she's a Dame , not a baroness if you mean Dame Hazel" Tove says looking like she's not sure how Dagmar gets into these things "Unless you mean the Daireann who is a threat?"

((That's player forgetfulness, but let's roll with it.)) "Dame, yes. I'm not familiar with the Daireann Baroness. She does not sound like someone I would like to know."

Tove shoos Dagmar out to do that book report, then turns back to the Chieftain now that it's jsut the two of them "Yes, Síomha Stormstaff ap Daireann seems a very petty creature. And Dagmar wants to... FIX it. I.. .what do I tell her? I don't want her to lose her spark for justice but one day I worry she'll discover waht it is to be helpless even as a troll knight"

Tove fidgets a bit, new mom-itus.

"Hm." Brekke sighs and taps a finger on the table in thought. "It may be that she needs to throw herself against this problem...and she may well discover that it cannot be fixed. But I would rather have her learn the lesson and be disappointed than for her to learn not to try. But...I am not her mother. You may know better than I what is best for her."

"Thank you, but in truth I'm..feeling out of my depth and am grateful for the advice. Siv and Jessica, well, I don't know Jessica , but they seem overall well adjusted. Dagmar is getting there" Proud "And she's taken so much pain. I just... well, I'll talk it over with Jaymes, of course, but.. I don't know."

"Tove, she may not succeed, but I can think of few better ways for her to learn the complexities of court dealings than in wrangling with an issue like this. She will have to learn the systems and politics of two houses that are not her own. I think it would serve much the same good for her as Sylvi's journey to the North did for her. I think you should let her try to help, with the understanding that there may be no help for it. I cannot think of a knight worth her reputation who has not fought for a lost cause at least once."

Tove ponders "She wants me to make a song to spread to various holds of good nature, in hopes of drumming up a champion. "

Brekke looks...impressed. "She came up with that idea?"

"She did" Impressed "I .. I mean she's noramlly so direct and here she is covering her bases and understanding the call Clarion not just for herself, but for others."

"Hmm." A nod. "It is a sound strategy, to start. Are you willing?"

"I am" She says "And.. I should get started. Can we talk more about this later? I really should talk to Jaymes more"

"By all means. I would not stand between you and your creativity, but I do wish to discuss this more at a later time."

"Thank you so much, I as well." And she whisks off to tell Jaymes

Drama, the young do have a way of bringing it home.

Kerri maybe to find the kitchen cleaned, maybe not the way she would do it, but clean, a note that food is on its way, and a note with a flower saying 'Dress Casual- O'

A bemused blink from the Hearth. "Ooohhh-kayyyy...." And she smiles as she puts on that pair of jeans that she knows he really likes and a very flattering t-shirt, hoping that's not too casual.

Her Husband comes into view wearing a "I'm with Gorgeous" T shirt and his own jeans

Olgar catches her as she's slipping the last of her clothes on "You time that on purpose?" He notes the way the last garment slides on quite nicely

The good jeans, she notices with appreciation, and she does move a bit more slowly just for him to appreciate in return. "A happy accident. Now...what do you have planned?" She's trying to hide her curiosity, but it's not easy.

"Believe it or not, a visit to a place our daughter has suggested. YOUR daughter if this turns out to be a bad idea" A smirk

"Ohhhh, no. Bad ideas only come from your daughter. What kind of place?"

"1950s dinner kind of thing in Jefferson City. Something we have to try there for your official approval"
