Jaymes then looks over at Betty "And you're welcome. We had the space. You've been told about Dagmar's room?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, off limits unless she says so. Duh" THe nocker says before she can retract the Duh.

Rather than be insulted or offended, Jaymes nods

"But it's the same for her, right? Nobody in there unless she says so."

"Seems fair" Jaymes grunts "But if I bang on the door and get no answer after several hours, for either of your rooms, I might go in to make sure folks are breathing" He takes his coffee

"You lunktards are pretty cool" The nocker says

"Well, fair nuff, I guess."

"Toldja. They're alright."

"So... Betty" tove asks "What are your interests?"

"Well, I usta love Skyrim. Dagmar was nice. Let me set up a character"

"We're gonna play-ay." Sing-song.

Jaymes gives an approving eyebrow raise at Dagmar. She knows his expressions to know he finds this comendable.

"Good." Tove says "Anything else? Your craft maybe we can get you some tools?"

An urgent, silent shake of Dagmar's head at Tove.

"Uhm. .no thanks" She sips her Dr. Pepper.

"We're gonna have Carnival soon. There's gonna be parties."

Tove looks confused, then sees Dagmar's gesture, and says "Okay, now for Fish... these 3 are medium, these 3 are spicy. This one is Extra Hot spicy... and this one is well.. has almsot no spice at all"

"Carnivale? FUrk. I lost track of time. And.. yeah, I'll try the medium one"

"And spicy for meeeee." She takes two.

They are parceled out, Tove, like Dagmar, enjoys spicey. Jaymes is a mighty warrior, but remains a bit on the timid side with spices. A source of amusement to some

"After Skyrim, we are gonna have to try Sea of Thieves. Hey, do you like basketball? We have a hoop in the driveway, we could play tomorrow..."

"SUre, I mean, I'm not great at it, but yeah." SHe says

A grunt and nod then reminder "homework too"

"But it's the weeeeekend."

He raises a brow. "And?"

"I could do it Sunday?"

"So you can do basketball sunday? Okay" He nods.

Tove looks at him, "Jaymes. You know what she means."

"I can do homework Sunday..."

"One hour homework saturday, really trying. Rest sunday." He says. Doesn't sound like a negotation.

A huff, but she doesn't argue.

"Heh, glad I don't have homework" a smirk from the nocker

"Lucky."

"Actually" Tove says "We have a private tutor to access you this weekend, Betty, and then give you lessons so when you do get going into whatever school you won't be too rusty"

"The furk? Oh no..that's drek, that's schwarbage..." betty protests

Dag shrugs. "They're stubborn. It's like fighting with a rock."

Jaymes nods to Dagmar, then gives Betty a look.

Betty, to her credit, tries, appealing to logic, sympathy, and finally whining....

"And now your food is cold and you still have a tutor coming over" Jaymes says

The nocker stabs her fish with frustration but gives up

"Fine. I'll see the furking tutor"

Low. "Sorry, chica."

A put upon sigh from the nocker

Tove is fighting very hard not to smile, for, by the younger teen girls' standards, that would be quite cruel and insult to injury

"Least you don't have to go straight into school."

"yeah" A poke of her food, then Betty starts to eat it despite her best efforts because ..well, darn it, it's tasty. SHe takes satisfaction/justice in ignoring her peas

Dagmar.. eats everything.
