"THANK YOU, but let's not yell..oh great now I'm doing it!"

Dagmar snorts and grins.

A genuine laugh from the nocker and she opens her door slight smile. She has changed into some new clothes , clearly Tove's providing "This..this is pretty cool." She is wearing PJs that look like engineering blue prints

"Fancy!"

"Tove got me Thor pjs."

"Cool... she's got a knack for finding what folks like"

Tove comes up "Did you folks ever decide on how spicy you wanted it?"

Dagmar nods. "Yeah. Tove's the best."

"Hey! Mediumish?"

Tove blushes as she overhears the first part, "Medium it is..well, I'll make a few extra for you and me but medium for Jaymes and Betty"

"Yeah. That works."

"Be another 20 minutes" She heads down.

Betty says "So.. you said you had video games?"

"Uh-huh. Got them for Christmas. I have Skyrim, where you get to, like, explore everything, and Minecraft where you build stuff, and this cool pirate game..."

"Skyrim still going strong? I used to play that years ago" Wistful

"You wanna? Might nt have time to play before dinner, but you can make an avatar..."

"If it's cool, yeah. So you probably play Nords huh? Being all troll"

She nods. "Mostly, yeah. I dunno if I have any real viking as, like, Sam... I've been Dagmar for almost a year though."

"Oh gee, you're not even sained? And here I am in on the end of it. Drek, I'm not intruding on like troll lessons are something am I?"

"Nah. I have a month left, and I swear, I just want it done..."

"When I'm sained, I can make oaths."

"Yup" She says

"So - you haven't met Jaymes yet - but Jaymes is going to adopt me then."

"Yeah? I know he's nice becaus he's letting me mooch around here some... though I'll work, ain't afraid of work, 'ya'know? But what's your dad like?"

"Quiet. Which I guess is a troll thing. But he's a good listener, and, like... gives a shit?" She leads Betty to the living room and hunts for the skyrim disc.

"Yeah.. sounds okay. Me? I can get loud sometimes. I'll try to keep it down, but when Ifeel frustrated I just gotta make a noise about it"

"Better noise than other stuff." A pause. "I got a temper. If... if I say I gotta be alone, just.. y'know? It's been okay lately, though."

"Fair warning" she says nodding "Rather you tell me furkin straight than I learn what's what too late, right?"

The game starts up, and Betty smiles, as if the silly background chant made her think of happier days

"Yeah. I'm working on it, but... thanks, for being cool."

"Hey, we all got regrets. " She looks at the screen "Huh, gonna go Roguish. They got the best stuff..so lots of sneaking. But race? Mm.. Wood Elves make the best archers... but screw that. I'm going imperial."

"Imperials are good. Tactical an' shit."

"Got an edge in cash, nothing like being an ex slave to make you appreciate a little liquidity, y'know?" She ssmiles..."Okay... gonna go with a redhead... that way if she dies I won't feel bad since gingers have no souls"

Another snort.

"I'm kidding, of course, but the idea of a redhead sneaking in shadows easy as you please amuses me" The avatar is constructed with practiced ease... and then... the game is starting.. when...

A knock on the door , and Jaymes voice "Dinner's ready"

"Coming!"

"Ack..." Pressing Save

"Okay, save it and we can totally play after dinner. That's Jaymes..."

"Yeah yeah... got lost in it for a moment" She says and rises "Thanks for letting me start one up"

"Sure. You're here, right?"

"Yeah but you know, it's your shit." SHe says and heads out the door with her. They come to the table. Jaymes nods to both girls, but smiles just a bit for Dagmar.

"Yeah, well..." A shrug. "I've been the new foster, too."

"Jaymes this is Braunsbedra though I think she prefers Betty" Tove says "Betty, this is Jaymes."

Jaymes nods again at Betty.

Betty says "Uhm..thanks for furking taking me in. Dagmar and Tove , you know..they don't suck"

"What's everyone want to drink? There's tea and Dr. Pepper and milk and.. uh... OJ..." Checking the fridge.

"Dr. Pepper!" The nocker blurts

"I'll have the juice, thank you" Tove says. "Jaymes want me to get your coffee?"

"Damn straight." Dr, Pepper is poured for both of the teenagers.
