"Yes! I like that movie."

"Yes, she fights to bring honor to her family and defend China" Snow says "I like her. Though I don't think I would like war"

"I don't mind a good fight. It's exciting."

"Don't you get scared?" Snow asks eyes wide "I would be scared."

"I'm not afraid of getting hurt. That's.. I dunno, it's easy. You can understand a punch."

"...I don't like getting shot though, that sucked."

"Yup. Bullets are nasty" Jaymes says

"Getting stabbed kind of sucks, too."

"But, like, neither of those things is guaranteed."

"Mmm welll, if you manage to avoid it for awhile I won't obect" Tove says

"She's got to have her fun " Jaymes says staightfaced

"I will try to avoid it." A pause. "Any word on the Pine Barrens?"

"Yeah, the Chief is assembling a crew for the quest to find the girl whatshername and Eric the Grasp. She wants you in on it" Jaymes says

"Yeah?" A grin.

"I have say on whether you go or not " Jaymes says "You want to go? You Could get hurt."

"Oh, c'mon Jaymes. Pleeeease? Everybody else gets to have adventures..."

A nod "I think everybody iss an exageration, but I get the basic of your complaint." A sigh "Other thing is, adults WILL be along. So if that's going to make it no fun for you, you need to say so."

"Will you be there?"

"Tht's up to the Chieff, but yeah I think so"

"Well, that'd be cool."

A nod "I'll try to remember it's your adventure too." He says

"We'll be heroes!"

"You're already a hero you nut" He says "Remember all the good you've done ?" A smile though

"Well, I mean... for somebody else, right?"

"Trolls protect."

"Yes." Jaymes nods "And we must answer"

"Right!"

"Won't stop me from worrying bout you" He says honestly

"Well.." A bit of purple. "I dunno, maybe that's okay?"

"Good." He nods "I'll worry about you, but not keep you from being who you are. Which is a good person who cares, and a troll who protects"

"And a giant with a really big axe."

"heh" a smile does slip from him

"Let's finish this Pagoda and then we'll talk more over a well earned meal huh??"

"Sounds good. Can we have ice cream after?"

"mm okay, but not too much, I'll need to go to the store so let's make that last"

"Ok, ok... moderate ice cream."

"Moderate ice cream it is" He nods "After" And they get back to work.

"Man, this is badass."

"not bad not bad" He admits as the work takes shape.
