Siv knows only that her mother and father have been on the phone for ever, and she paces.

Then sighs, and readies to take over patroll. If mum and Da can't do it right now, then it must be important. She is Daughter to Kings- she'll handle this.

She sharpens her cutlass for a few moments, checks her gear, and signs a note "Cellphone with me. You were supposed to patrol . Will Patrol instead. You sort things out. Call me if you need me. Hope whatever is going on goes well. May pick up Dagmar for help on patrol"

Warm clothes, good gear, She patrols towards the nearby Dutch Farmhouse and hears barking as Twobit sees her

"Hey, Twobit.. you're too small to be an outside dog, ye know that right?"She tells the dog

"Twobit, that ain't fetching!" Dagmar turns the corner.

"Oh, hey Siv!"

"Hey, Dagmar. " Siv is bending down to pet two bit. She has a leather vest along with winter coat., And her weapon is by her side, "I'm Patroling. You care to join me?"

"Oh, totally! Let me go get Flyswatter!" She flies in to the house. "JAYMES, I"M GOING ON PATROL!"

Twobit bounces into the house after, Jaymes says "Okay. Take Fly sw..right"

"I'll be back by dinner, I think." A slight pause, as if she wants to say something more - then a grin and a shrug and she's off.

Siv greets her outside, "Mum and me were supposed to patrol, but something's going on. I don't know what"

"Uhg. I hope it's not something too bad. Maybe it's a monster."

"A monster I would worry less about" She says "But maybe. So Wild path or neighborhood path?"

Vali prefers the neighborhood paths, meets and greets and assurances to the locals seeing how they're doing . The Cheftain often prefers the wider and wilder forests loop

"Mmm... wild path."

"A monster could be fun. Good fight, right?"

"Sure, maybe we'll see Klump" At the mention of a good fight "One thing about you, Dagmar, you're not afraid to take a hit."

"Nah. I'm no sissy. Fights are... easy, you know? Being strong like this, especially. Simple."

"OH, I need to show you what Klump got me for Christmas! It's a geode! You did like the nail polish alright?"

"Maybe, but sometimes wounds slow you down, better to avoid..." A pause then a smile "Okay. Jealous. Klump didn't get ME a present, and I LOVE the nail polish"

"If you take some punishment, you can get close enough to hit hard, I think. You just have to tough out the pain." Tromping along the path, enjoying the brisk air. She wears her new coat, proudly adorned with patches. "I gave Klump a present, too - I don't think Inanimae celebrate holidays? Oh, I met Miss Evergreen at the Farm, and she was nice..."

"She is, isn't she" A nod "Only met her once. " They make their way along... "She's not like the Dryad around here at all. "

"I haven't met the Dryad..."

"She was once a human soul, our Dryad, but ended up in a pocket dream...llong story short, she was sort of rescued, but came out as a Dream. Pure Chimera. Fancies lads more than I do "A blush "Lot more."

"Oh... wow. That sounds like a story."

"Has she met Klump? Do you think they'd get along?"

"was, it was a post apcolyptic video game like Mad Max with mutant zombies. I got to be the gunner" A grin "Da, da was amazing... he drove, and he was like an action hero." A sigh "It'... silly, but it was one of the best days of my life." A tilt of her head "NOt sure...you know Klump better than I. He seems to be a touch shy, but friendly."

"Sounds about right. Klump's good people."

"I suppose that he..." SOmething shoots by along the tree tops.

Dagmar looks up, drawing Flyswatter to a guard position.

Dagmar's movei s noted and Siv's hand goes to her own hilt. /Something looks down with large green eyes. Not something you often see... a monkey chimera? A white one, with green eyes.

"A monkey? Huh" Siv says less on guard.

"It's pretty." Dagmar decides, but doesn't let down her guard.

"why thank you," The monkey says , the accent hard to place.

"Oh! You talk!"

"I love it when things talk. That's one of the best things. Hi, I'm Dagmar!"

"I'm called Snow on the High Forest, but most call me Snow" the Monkey says "And yes, there are many dreamed things that are profoundly stupid, or just plain less real. Poor creatures. If it's not too much trouble, where am I?"

"Name's Siv, you're in the County of Bergen, the Barony of Rivervale... part of the mortal land of New Jersey" Siv says

"....Are you Chinese? Is it the Year of the Monkey?"

"Every year is Monkey year for me" Snow says with a sharp toothed smile "But no, I am not Chinese. Do I sound Chinese?" she tilts her head, "I never can tell. I chatter, of course, but I never thought of an acccent"

"I'm not good at accents." She shrugs. "But your name is all poetical, and you have jade green eyes, so... I dunno. I guessed."

"mm maybe I AM Chinese" Snow ponders then "Ah, than you for letting me know where I am. You haven't seen a man with one blue eye, and one green eye same color as mine?"

She shakes her head. "I don't think so. Have you lost him, or are you trying to find him for the first time?"

"Trying to avoid" Snow says looking over her shoulder

"Why?"

Siv raises a brow, "Not seen the fellow either"

"Don't like the collar" The monkey says
