"ooo..." snow says "you are all so clever with wood. I mostly used it to climb"

Tove smiles, "And this wood is collected from fallen branches and the like."

Jaymes nods "Nature provides to the patient"

"Well, I'm not so good as Tove. She makes carvings..."

"Including ones o monkeys? Or tigers? or monkeys? Or dragons? Which are ridden by monkeys?" Snow asks Tove "Asking for a friend."

Tove laughs "I'll see what I can do"

"She made me a badger."

"did it hurt?" Snow asks "And how did you become yourself again?"

Her green eyes VERY wide

A moment, then Dagmar lets out a surprised laugh. "No, she didn't turn me into a badger. She made a carving of a badger for me."

"Ooo that' much less awkward" Snow looks relieved

Tove chuckles "There are some that COULD turn her into a badger, but not me . "

"Man, it'd be cool to try that. Like King Arthur and Merlin."

"Dunno if he was ever a badger, but I'd rather be a badger than a squirrel."

"Oh, Squireels aren't so bad" Tove says "One climbs the world tree"

She laughs. "Oh right, Ratatosk!"

"Monkey could do it better" Snow observes

"I don't think there are any monkeys in Norway."

"Sad land" Snow says

"Cold. No bananas."

"VERY sad" Snow gasps

"But also probably why there are no monkeys."

"Yes. We.. we have fruit here?" Hopeful "I mean, it will be around?"

"I'll put it on the list" Tove assures

The tree pagoda continues to take shape.

"Well, we have fruit from the store..."

Jaymes raises a brow, "If you eat, you work" to Snow

Snow says "I can offer wisdom!"

"We have a Mountain for that" Jaymes says

"I could watch! I have keen eyes" She offers

"What do you think, Dagmar" Jaymes says "we set up a tree pagoda and provide fruit now and then and Snow offers to help out with scouting?"

"That... seems fair. And unlike TwoBit, she can talk."

Twobit barks from below. She can talk plenty!

"Yes, but not in English."

"Chinese English" Snow adds

Jaymes sighs "Fine. We got a deal" And he keeps working

"She can't eat more than I do..."

"Well, you're a growing wilder" Tove reminds

"And growing. I think I'm taller."

"Oh dear, let me check your pants." Tove says and starts to fuss

Jaymes smirks at that

"They're fine, Tove..."

"Well, if I need to add material or gete new pantss..." She fusses "Then I don't want you feeling like you're wearing shorts"

"Kerri got me long ones, so I think there's room, you know?"

"Okay, I guess that mans it'll it be easy to let the hem down" She speculates. "Kerri's so much better at clothing than I am"

Jaymes shrugs "Know more than I do about it"

"She let me get guys clothes.."

"that's the style you like" Tove nods as if that settles that
