"I know," Siv says looking at her "Some say there are no bad dogs, just bad owners. I don't knwo about that but I'm sure more like to agree with it than not." the two begin to track... "Now how did mum do it?"

"Broken branches, and turned up leaves - like, look for leaves a different color on the ground..."

"Right you are. hey, here's one" They move on

"He better not mess with Jaymes, all I'm sayin."

The two of them move their way on

Dagmar takes turns with Siv in spotting traces of Acero, pointing them out with a soft grunt or an elbow-nudge.

that's when Dagmar notices the gleam of the first trap. In a tree, a chimerical trap to be sure. But a trap...with grapes in it

She glares. "Dickbag. He left traps. This ain't his woods!"

"oh hellno" Siv agrees with heat "That is out of bounds. Now he's endangering wild chimera, and mum won't have that!"

"So - we disable it and take it to her? Leave it? Ain't good leaving it, something could get hurt..."

"You're right. Can you reach it with fly swater or do I need to hopscotch?"

"Mmm..." Dagmar is tall, and Flyswatter is equally so.... and such, she tries to snag the trap with the hooked bottom of the halberd head.

And up she goes and..flyswatter touches the trap, gets caught and down goes Dagmar WITHOUT Flyswatter

"Son of a .." Siv says

Dagmar growls, letting out a stream of invectives.

"We got one, we got one..." Acero Bent calls out, dogs barking

Siv says "Shit."

Dagmar hops up, grabbing at the weapon.

"So, you brats are messing with my traps" Bent says as he comes into sight, "I'd stop leaping for that weapon, miss. It's in my trap, so it belongs to me now"

Siv 's cutlass is out, "The hell"

She flips him off. "Bullshit, asshole."

And another jumping grab.

'ooops.." the dogs slip loose and start to circle the girls

"You do understand you are fucking up, right? Like, you have been told this ain't your turf to do what you want."

"I think you know were my monkey is.. she's MINE," Bent hisses

"Nope. You seem to think a lot of shit is yours."

"Well, now you're mssing with MY trap"

"You didn't have permission to put it here. We did tell you to petition the Chief first."

"You girls are becoming a pain in my ass... Boys, I want you to not hurt em...but nibble on them a little"

Siv says "Anything those dogs du to us, I'll brring on you ten fold"

Her fingertips graze the handle, but she doesn't get a solid grip before she lands. "Mister, I don't want to hurt your dogs."

From somewhere behind Dagmar and Siv, suddenly a voice pops up, followed by a small form, scrambling to their sides. “You didn’t tell me you were going to go play with NEW FRIENDS. That’s RUDE you know. I want to know about new friends too!” And Connor moves forward, eyeing the dogs with interest, stopping just a half-pace behind Siv.

Siv turns "Connoer, get out of here, now!"

He juts out his lower lip at Siv, quivering. “You never let me have any fun! It’s always you an Dagmar or you an Sylvi or Dagmar and Sylvi and leaving me behind.” A snuffling sound, and he plops onto his rump. “Well I can play too. I have friends too!”

Dagmar's eyes go WIDE, and she interposes herself between the pooka and the dogs... letting Flyswatter go for now, hands curled into fists.

The dogs lunge forward , ready to tear at Dagmar's legs and Siv's arm

Dagmar roars, and launches herself at the dog - swinging her fist in a broad haymaker, aiming to knock the first mastiff aside.

He cups his hands around his mouth and lets out a mournful hoooooowl! “AWWWOOOOO AWWWW AWWWWWWW OOOOOO-OOOOO-OOOOODELALLY, OOODELLALY!”

Siv guards the pooka's other side, slapping another mastiff with the flat of the blade and getting a gash along her arm

Dagmar 's full strength knocks one dog back on it's ass

And the howl?

TWO WHITE blurs comeforward , Oak and Edelweiss snarling and howling body clamping down on the two mastiffs closest to the girls

She bares her teeth, ready to knock the next mastiff low.

As the dogs snap and bite at Siv, Connor barks back at them. “No! NO! That’s a BAD GIRL!” Then he beams. “Oh. My friends!” And scrambles back to let the blurs do their work.

The creature that is Bent throws a knife at....

Oak sees tje knife and . dodges!

Dogs are not supposed to dodge.

so it hits the mastiff instead
