"mmmph, i could doodle a Bancroft like elf, but right now I might want to cut his legs off so he cant' run round..oh I'm a bad person" A sigh and she instead makes a more generic elf. "And Gymnastics is going.well, great most of the time, made a friend named Brigit, even musing her a bit. But this other girl...she's a bit chilly and she has mum worried. I hope I don't get yanked off the team, but... I don't like worrying my folks that much. They really HAVE been more willing to let me take chances."

Then to Dagmar "Ha, Gonzalez and May are like day and night, both good folk, mind, but May's so skittish, but Gonzalez is in your face..both nice about it mostly. "

"You want me to punch her?"

"The Chieftain mentioned that woman. The best you can do is keep the dross about you and use it when you need to. Don't try to be stubborn about it."

"Yeeesss Hearth" A sigh but acquiescence , then a chuckle "And thank you, Dagmar, but I can punch plenty hard myself. Not as hard as you, but she'd feel it. Also, that horrid girl is not worth EITHER of us getting suspended."

Sigh. "Fiiine."

"Absolutely right. No fighting at school."

"Maybe she's finally backing off with that 'bimbo ' and 'white trash ' talk" A knit brow as she works on a star

A tilt of her head, and a glance at the Hearth, and a siip of a smile.

"She called you a bimbo?"

A guileless blink in return, then she goes back to putting away cookware.

"More than once, tall, blonde.. and she acts like I'm stupid because of the way I'm talking at times. I've tried to curb it, mostly for right of ignorance, not for her sake. It's okay, Dagmar. I know I'm not one. I'm a flirt, not a tramp. And even if I were a tramp, there are worse things to be like a shallow cruel hatefilled snot who can't handle a beam when the pressure's on" A bit petty that, but a nod anyway

"well, yeah. But screw her."

A pause, then, "If it helps any...you're not the only one in this room to have been called a tramp. It's survivable." She still blandly dries and puts away dishes.

"You?" Startled look to the Hearth "What, just because you're pretty?"

She decorates the letters with blue dots. "Should just punch her trashy mouth."

A slight smile. "Thank you for that, Siv. It was a long time ago."

"If she needs punching, Dagmar, please let me do it... off the school grounds." A nod "And , Aunt Kerri, ye do know Uncle Olgar talks like he's got the hottest wife in the County ? I mean.. not in a tacky way, but he looks really smug when young bucks mention you"

A wistful sigh "I hope one day to have a fellow who does that about me no matter how old I get." Doodling a tree cookie now.

"No matter how old, hm?" A bemused grin. "I do know how Olgar gets."

"There!"

A wince "Right. Do not have Sylvi's gift for diplomacy. Sorrryyy..." Then hearing Dagmar "there what?"

"Painted!"

Kerri takes an appreciative look at both sides of the tool box. "That looks very good, Dagmar. He'll love it."

"Hey... " She takes a peek "Yeah. Good work!"

The cookie production has gotten fancy again, a few nordic runes that she's seen her father the mountain use being incorporated on the cookies. It does slow her down, but it looks Nordic/Yule.

"Lovely work, Siv. You've got a good hand at this!"

Dagmar rests her elbows on the counter, leaning in to watch. "You should make one look like the Chief, that one looks like Frank."

"Thanks," Siv says "worry I'm not being quick."

"Good idea, Dagmar!"

"It's not a thing to be done quickly. Take your time. It's not a race."

"I suppose. It does take my mind off Bancroft a bit. Oh lord, I AM Jealous of him having a life. nargh. " She begins to start on a new one. "is that normal? I mean, i can telli t's probably not GOOD, but is it normal?"

"I think you need to get over it. I mean, nobody wants the crazy clingy girlfriend."

her mouth opens, then "I hate it that you're probably right" Grumph

"I think it's common enough. But you've already seen how to overcome the feeling. Find something else to focus on."

"Hey, are those little silver balls edible?" She reaches for a jar and shakes it.

A smirk, "Mom looks fun as Mrs. Claus. I keep wanting to find a way to slap Speaker on. Better not be naughty or you'll get it"

"Technically, no. In practice, yes. But you'll feel like you're about to break a tooth on one."

"That sounds like a good Mrs. Santa accessory."
