"Not a bad idea, Dagmar. Siv, I know there's edible silver paint, but i don't have it."

"oh a shame.. maybe i can mix a bit of black and white and make a gray that's close to silver?"

"Yes, I think that's best. And I'll make sure to find some of the silver stuff tomorrow. Maybe some gold, too."

"Fancy."

"Do I need to chip in? I have a bit of allowance. If the silver is for mum's hand..." An offer

"Oh, it's not a burden. Thank you for offering, though."

"We could make stars, too..." Softly.

"You mean cookies stars? I have some...."

She moves over for Dagmar "here, Help me write "Worthy' on one if they can lift it, they can eat it"

"With silver, right? So they sparkle?"

"Oh, yes. We can absolutely do that."

"I think that'd be pretty."

"it would"

She shakes her head. "I got paint all over my hands. You write it."

"You sure? Okay. you want it in comic book sans? For irony?"

"You can do fonts? I'm not that clever with icing. " Kerri watches.

"Well. I TRY to do fonts..." She says honestly

A smile. "Carry on."

"That's awfully small to write with icing...."

"I may blow it, aye. Comic Sans is pretty simplistic, probably why folks avoid it for official work stuff . My but folks can be fussy" Then she begins , then says "Oh, Dagmar, you're missing the fun. Want to help slap some green on the trees?"

"Aftery ou clean your hands , of course"

"I'm okay just watching. Don't wanna screw them up."

A look to the Hearth, then to Dagmar, then to Kerri again

"Dagmar, they're cookies. If you screw them up, there's a secret way to hide the evidence. Wan tto know what it is?"

Eyebrow?

"Siv, may I?" She reclaims the piping bag, aims at a cookie, and makes an absolute mess of it. Handing the piping bag back to Siv, she picks up the cookie, investigates it, and after a moment, pops it in her mouth with a satisfied grin.

"What screw up?" she says through a mouthful of cookie.

A big grin from Siv! 'Genius"

Dagmar purples a little. "Guys..."

Kerri finishes and gives Dagmar a dubious look. "You question the wisdom of the Hearth?" With a grin.

"Well, I honestly didn't think of eating the evidence myself" She admits sheepishly

"No ma'am."

"Go on, Dagmar. I think it's been proven that a slip is no big deal. Sides, i"m feeling bad hogging it all"

"Wash hands first."

"Okay, okay..." She crosses to the sink to wash her hands.

Siv nods "Thanks. Can I get a drink, Aunt Kerri?"

"Of course, help yourself."

She does, and makes space for Dagmar to go at once her hands are clean.

Both might notice she is deliberately NOT looking at her smart phone.

Dagmar takes one of the piping bags, holding it uncertainly.

"Here...hold it like this...twist, then point...and squeeze gently."

She carefully follows Kerri's directions - "gentle" squeezing being less than consistent, resulting in several unsightly blobs.

"..Sorry..."

"It's okay, you can play with the blobby marks, too. Here..." She gets a toothpick, and pulls little starburst spikes away from the edges of the blob. "See?"

Siv observes, taking notes

Dagmar nods. "Okay.... like... okay... you're really good at this."

"Many, many years of practice."

She eyes her smart phone.

Tempted.

That eyebrow furrow of concentration. "What should I put on them?"
