A rap on the door. "Tove?"

"what oh.. "Scrambling sounds and... "ah... Come in?" SHe doesn't sound certain

"Hey... can I watch? Siv said you were recording. You making youtubes?"

"I...siv talks a lot" A sour look, then "I'm trying too. Yes. Vali showed me how. And.well, there's apparently this Patreon thing and other stuff"

"Oh, cool. So you're gonna try to make money? I heard some people like, do youtube as their main job."

A purple blush "Yes..well, odds are slim this will work. No need to trouble Jaymes with it. In fact, I'd appreciate you didn't tell him."

"Are they? I mean, if you don't try it sure won't work - but th'worse that happens is other people get to hear you sing. Hey, are you gonna sing at Pennons? Siv says we're going out to the BIG hold! I haven't been there yet, have you?"

"Oh Pennons! Oh my! I totally forgot about ...it's soon isn't it?" SHe turns to look at Dagmar "Oh Dagmar thank you for reminding me. Pennons is a real chance to show off my work. I have a whole closet full of wood work I don't have room for, and a new song I want to try in the right crowd. No I've not been..oh I hope I don't have to sign up to get a place to show my wares"

"Well, I'm sure folks at Rivervale know how it works. Siv says there'll be baking, too! You could bring your triple-berry pie, maybe? Or pumpkin?"

"you really like that tripleberry don't you?" Tove muses her hair a little, one of the few adults who can do that and live

"Well, it's the best pie. Siv acted like Kerri or Sally Mae had a chance." She sniffs.

"Well, even they will be hard pressed" she reminds "If this is at the county level we'll all three be going up against the best cooks from many holds"

Dagmar might realize that Tove is looking at her very curiously, and seems to have a bit of a goofy smile on her face at something

"Well, whatever. They aren't you."

"...what's the face for?"

"Just thinking that some times a constant star, a fixed star, might not be so bad"

She smiles a bit "hard to explain"

"That's... that's a sailing thing, right? You need to have the North Star or you get lost."

"Yes it is, though I... was using as a metaphor"

"...oh... okay." She shrugs. "So, I was wondering if I could watch you sing? I'll be SUPER quiet."

"Are you sure?" She asks "It's nothing you haven't heard before... and " A pause "Wait, Dagmar, are you going to be fighting at the pennons?"

"Maybe? I think Siv is, not sure if I'm allowed. It's my first one."

"Oh, Jaymes wouldn't deny you, and if he does, he's out of his gord. He told me you helped a girl being harassed ,and showed control.. he was so proud he was fit to bust"

"I wanted to smash his face in."

"But you were stronger than your rage. That's what makes you Lady Thor, and not Lady Hulk" A nod

"Oh, but She Hulk is actually pretty cool. Colton was telling me about her. She's a lawyer."

"I think I have to be careful when I fight, though. Especially with Flyswatter."

"Ther'es a SHE hulk named she-hulk? Huh" Then "and yes. Probably best. Flyswatter's a powerful one"

"Yeah! She-hulk is her own character."

"Okay, see, it's all a matter of what lore you know." A bite of her lip "Okay, is it okay if I offer a deal?"

"What deal?"

"Well, you can sit in here over there, real quiet and I'll sing three songs, one you might like though it's not mythological but more comic book Thor. While I record. ANd then after, you help me unload some of my wood work so I can have it read y for Pennons. "

An easy shrug. "Okay, easy enough."

TOve seems nervous at first. As if the camera was a possibly mean critic waiting to jump at her. But soon she gets into it. ANd each song is wonderful....the first very fast paced like a chase, one can almost feel the tension of pursuit building and building!

Dag leans in, paying rapt attention.

The next is clearly meant to be a love ballad, sweet and maybe a bit more syrupy than she likes... but darn it, it IS beautiful

Dagmar clearly has an opinion, but she holds her tongue as promised.

The next and last song however is very short, but might get a smile

Okay, that gets a giggle.

"Hope you enjoyed" She tells the camera AND a wink to Dagmar at the giggle "Until next this is Skaldette saying may your rainbow lead you to your earned rewards."

and she turns it off, then says "You slipped there, but I'm glad you liked" A grin

"Is Skaldette your name? I can follow you, I've got a laptop now."

"It's what I use yes I..." A blush "It's not stupid is it? I feel very out of my depth"

"Well, you're a Skald, and a girl..."

"A woman even" a smile "But yes."

"You should sing the second one to Jaymes. See what he thinks."

A blush "Well, actually that one he likes when he heard it."

"Well, okay then." A grin.

"Now ..what about you, I know you prefer Heavy Metal, but did you like the chase one?"
