The Mountain seems to realize that he spoke out loud... a faint purpling of his cheeks, and he takes a long sip of his coffee.

He nods. "She is aware."

"Mm good." Sally Mae says "Ah, with your permission? I am thinking of leaving for the next holiday and heading back to the farm. Ah..PRanksgiving has mortals as fair game and ...." Ahem

"The DeBuke farm has rules protecting ALL deBukes even on that day. Some."

Frank nods. "Of course. Check with Kerri but I don't have any concerns about it. We'll escort you home."

"You're kind but it's a surprisingly easy trip. I should be fine. And it's a way off yet." She hums

"Even an Enchanted mortal, on the trods? These days? I'd feel better with an escort."

She nods "Thanks then , Mountain. Shame Earl may skip out. His lady has a birthday this Friday"

"We're working out details for a visit."

"Siv going with you? She was invited to visit her older ssister I'm told?"

"Well, she has to get there somehow...."

"You haven't gotten her driver's licence yet?"

"She has ID, yes, and some lessons, but she doesn't have a car yet."

"Oh? That.. ah well, it turns out you might get one on the cheap if you like."

"Or, we could take her there on the Kestrel. And pick her up. And get to see Jessica, too."

Sally Mae smiles "You'd like to rather eat dirt than miss a chance to have you and your three favorite ladies together, wouldn't you?"

Frank smiles slightly, and sips his coffee, in answer.

"Okay. But there is a car for sale on the DeBuke farm. Thought I'd let you know"

He nods. "Thank you."

"Don't tell Siv, please."

"I won't. And I even understand why." Sally Mae chuckles

Frank glances at the door.

And the girls come back in. Much much later

"I'm gonna eat, like, five sandwiches..."

"will you now?" Sally Mae says eyebrow raised

"Or.... not?"

"Well, your choice, Sandwiches are fine, but I do have some ribs finishing up. To celebrate the safe return of two ladies we're fond of."

"Oooo, ribs..."

"Ribs please," Siv says trying not to mouth water

"Sure, Honey glaze BBQ is optional..." Sally Mae assures

Siv glances to Dagmar 'now she's just taunting our tastebuds"

Ribs are served up and quite delicious
