A look to Dagmar "I'd really appreciate some advice. I'm not up on what's hip now adays...is 'hip' hip now a days?"

"Well, she should get snapchat. And pokemon."

"Hmph. I have heard of that one. People wandering parks, 'hunting' with their faces in their screens."

"Pokemon , I get that reference" She grins at Dagmar knowing she'll get the joke

"I stopped at the library before I got the phone." Frank pads to his desk, shows the others a few books along the lines of "Smartphone applications for Dummies" and such.

"Sure thing, Steve."

"Wow, you guys really went all out' she looks at the books "I guess I'll study some"

"Steve?"

"Rogers."

Frank offers her one. "We'll trade reading them around."

"Who are Steve and Roger?" Frowning.

Brekke looks puzzled. Again.

"Steve Rogers."

"Captain America" She says to her mom and dad

"Has a shield, fights nazis and hydra and villains?"

"Ah! Right."

"Hmmph. Could use more of him." Frank goes to get two mugs of coffee.

Siv takes one of the books but has already started playing with ring tones. "Ah, this one sounds like chimes"

A blink at the phone. "Are you getting called?"

"No, just seeing what they sound like" She assures and shows her mom, now it sounds like raindrops sort of

"You should get, like, a pirate song."

"Hm." A nod, and she sips her coffee.

A grin at Dagmar "Maybe I'll try to get a song about thunder for your house phone"

"Like... duh-duh da da dun-duh, da-nu-da-na-duna-duh-na..." Pirates of the caribbean?

"I have a phone. Frank got it."

"It isn't smart, though..."

Brekke watches the girls looking at the phone, and then looks to Frank. The slightest of grins.

"It was just for contact, Dagmar. In case you needed help." He reminds gently, then catches Brekke's look and returns it.

"Well, whatever it is, I can set it so when you call music more suited to you plays. It'll know the number" She's looking through the instructions to make sure but yup.

"I know..."

"Oh right, so you do" Sheepish

She rubs the back of her neck, studying the floor.

"Well...good. Take good care of that, Siv. And keep it on you wherever you go."

"I'm going to go to my room and play with this a bit" she says bouncing up "Don't worry, no new things on without checking with you two. A deal's a deal"

"A deal is a deal." Brekke nods. "Good night, Siv. Dagmar, should you be getting to sleep as well?"

Hugs for ma, da again, and..yes, Dagmar! And Siv races off to her room

She tenses, but allows it. "Do I gotta?"

"No. What do you wish to do instead?"

"I dunno. Not sleep."

The door cracks open, and Connor sticks his head in. He blinks at the group collected in the lodge.

“Party?”

An eyebrow at the boy. "And where have you been?"

Frank's unfolded his half-moon glasses, and started flipping through the book he's got.

"Hey."

He opens the door and steps in, pointing up at the dimming sky. “Time to go to bed with the sun.” He shuffles a little, hands in his pockets, at the question. “Shopping?”

He glances up over the glasses to Conner.

A shy glance at Dagmar, and a small, unsure wag of his tail at the mostly-stranger he’s seen about.

"Shopping, indeed? And what did you get?"

A faint grunt and an upnod back.

A glance between them. "Have you two met?"
