"Not..really no. I know he had a rough time, but I didn't hear all the details from the Elder."

Heavy, fast footsteps on the trail, approaching. Not -quite- a run.

"I do not wish to share too many details, but...it sounds as though they decided he was easier to manage when he was on four feet...and a leash."

She turns at the sound of the running, and calls out from the boathouse, "Frank, we are in here."

"Ugh. On a leash? I.. " Nose wrinkle "I think I see why Jaymes doesn't like it."

It seems he was arrowing in on that location anyway.... the footsteps slow slightly.

She mutters to Siv, "I think he suspects we might be coming to blows."

Siv hears her dad, and looks a bit ashamed. "Well, can't blame him. I wasn't exactly showing my good side last night"

"Nor was I."

"Da?"She calls out "it's okay. Please join us"

Frank appears in the door. "Brekke? Siv.... Siv. Ok. Good."

She avoids grinning, but it's a near thing. "Are you well, Frank?"

"Yes." He does duck his head into the boathouse, scans the room. Nods. "Everything... ok? Here?"

"Well, mom and i were having a 'who can apologize more' contest. I'd like to think I was in the lead...but that might be ego"

Brekke nods, reassuring. "It is. We have talked."

A slight chuckle at Siv's interpretation.

A faint frown, but he nods again. "Ok." A pause. "Right. I'll, um, I'll see you... at the Lodge. Then."

"No, Frank, stay. We need your input."

He stays.

"Da, I was a brat last night, and .. I'm sorry for making you miserable"

"And my temper did not help matters."

Siv seems to have trouble facing her father as she admits her part, but manages.

Frank listens.

A look to Siv, then to him. "Frank...if the concern is that Siv might struggle with banality in a situation where we cannot locate her...then we can make it easier to locate her. If we can find her, we can help her when she needs help."

Siv nods

Frank nods. "Soothsay could help to locate her but I don't have it. I have a Realm with the strength to find mortals, but not the Art."

"Well, eventually you or vali will get it, but.. this doesn't require that. It's.. a cellphone ap"

Brekke nods. "I did not know it could do this, but Kerri says it can. Siv must agree to keep the tracker on at all times...and we must agree not to check where she is unless we think she truly needs our help."

"Or a certain period of time has passed, to be fair to you folks"

A frown. "Use technology?" He ponders. "Well. There are Fae that would never think of that, which could help."

A thinking breath, exhale. "Here's my concern. If she forgets... forgets who she is...." Clearly not easy to say "... how will she remember to leave the tracker on?"

"Oh, near as I can ell, it's always on. that's why you folks would have to restrain your selves on your end? Is..that it, mum?"

A look to Brekke on that

"Kerri says it is always on, and not obvious. Hopefully...we will realize that there is a problem before she thinks to turn it off."

A nod

Frank is staring at the floor. "How long is too long?"

Brekke thinks, then looks to Siv. "It is a fair question."

"THat's one to settle. I think, obviously, there will be case by case bases, and for some reason grumps always assume wilders are doing things at night that they'd never do in the day. So I imagine for night time checks would be on shorter periods?"

"I suppose...or it may be easier if we text you when we are concerned, and if you do not respond right away....we may check your location."

"Your stated intent for location would matter, to me."

"As well as the timing."

"Frank..." Carefully. "She is sixteen. Not all locations will have an intent."

A sigh "Ok. So... if I say I'm going to spend a day at firnost... as an example, you'd want to check after 8 hours?" And a nod to her mother 'And 'mom's right. Sometimes I'm whim and wind"

He shakes his head. "I mean, where she intends to go matters to me. Firnost is different than, say, Rowan Oak, which is different from New Agengard." He looks at Brekke. "You know why."

Siv looks to the side at New Agengard's mention

A deep breath...then a nod. "I do. But I also know that she is no childling, and must be able to explore, within reason. Siv...I agree with your father, please tell us where you are going before you go."

Frank exhales, tense, but nods.

"I'll tell you where I plan to go, and if that plan changes, REALLY changes, not me trying to weasel around it... I text you to know where I decided to go?"

Brekke nods at Siv, but notes Frank's tension. "I think perhaps you two still need to discuss details. And I have a patrol to do." She hugs Siv, then rests a hand on Frank's shoulder. "I will be back later, My Heart."

And she heads out of the boathouse.
