Symon is there- in a button up shirt (and scowl) and his hair slicked back- wait, no, it fell back in his face. At least the shirt is gray, and over jeans... Ann-Marie alongside, beaming as she Insists on introducing herself to all of “your little friends’ parents”.

There's some milling about beforehand, and Sylvi does the charm thing with Anne-Marie ("Thanks for bringing Symon over, we were really glad he could be there.") without mentioning the quilt.

The ceremony is simple...a brief speech of welcome from the principal who then says a few things about accomplishment and the future and rigor and grit and...well, if anybody needed a banality booster, this is doing nicely.

Then each graduate walks from one side of the stage to the center to receive a certificate and shake the principal's hand and pose for a picture, and then go off the other side of the stage. Simple.

Near the front of the alphabet, Sylvia Davidson makes sure to beam for the camera.

Looking anywhere other than the stage, Symon spies Dagmar and gives her a nod... and then seeing the paw print, almost chokes on his laugh. Ann Marie is there to ask too loudly if he’s okay, and he is quickly distracted in hushing her as best he may. (Rhyme unintended, this isn’t ER after all...)

And yes, there's the boggan Lucia with ehr Italian American family chattering talking past each other

One by one, the students parade across the stage....in various degrees of posture and pride....

Scuff scuff. Cautious smile at Jaymes in the crowd. Cautious smile for Symon, too.

He moves across, hunching down a bit at they mangle calling him ‘Syeong-min’... per usual... he scans the crowd for a second from the stage before hurrying off. Dagmar gets a thumbs up in her turn across the stage.

Kerri is taking pictures and smiling proudly.

Eden keps her mouth shut lest she say something wicked, when it's her turn.

Lucia gets advice, "Keep your back straight" from her mama

and may wodner why it's like he helped put somoene on the moon?

Each child's "cheering section" can easily be identified from different parts of the amphitheater...and Jaymes's smile is accompanied with a good amount of applause from the Rivervale crew when Samantha Larson gets her certificate.

All of the fae families get an extra bit of Rivervale Pride.

She purples, looking mildly dazed when she hears the cheering. A duck of her head and a hasty retreat.

When Zane goes, he's the last kid, looks like no more Ws...whih means that the marbles , the hundreds of marbles that somehow found their way on the podium clatter on an otherwise childlings podium!

Kerri tries not to laugh at the marbles that appear, and murmurs to Olgar, "Is he a satyr or a pooka?"

Administrators hurry cautiously to gather up the marbles without breaking their own necks, so the principal's final comments are somewhat upstaged.

Some laughter from the crowd, along with some muttering about "disrespectful kids, why when I was their age...."
