Sy's phone buzzes, and he sighs noiselessly. "Looks like my reprieve is over. Ride's here..." He straightens up, reshouldering his bag. "I guess I'll see you at school - since it's the last day and all."

Anne Marie can be heard "Symoooooooon sweetie"

That earns him a smile. "Thanks, Sy. I'll see you there."

Remembering at the last moment to remove the Bieber pin - and tucks it into a pocket, for safekeeping. Probably to prevent it from ending back on him again later if he leaves it aside. And a wince.

He waves towards where the minivan is parked, knowing that trying to shout "I'm coming!" is futile, and heads that way. A pause, and to Sylvi - "Tell everyone thanks, will you? It was... fun." And, heads off.

"I will! And it was." She sighs and stretches and finally gets herself up off the ground...and stretches some more.

"So did you have fun hanging with your homeys?" Might be heard from the minivan area..or mercifully, might not

Though his response is certainly inaudible, the shudder speaks volumes, as he climbs in and motions for her to drive, for the love of god, please, drive away.

And the minivan is soon driving of

off

"You okay, Sylvi?" She might have forgotten Siv was there and concious

"Huh? Oh, yeah...Dad's just a very, very funny man." Deadpan, and a gesture to indicate the dress and tiara. "Just ask him, he'll tell you. How 'bout you?"

"Had to back up so I didn't swallow my face wheen I fought the laughter. Your dad is funny" She concedes "It was nice, overall, the holiday. I'm trying to decide or how much to butt in on some things around here"

"Let me guess...Jaymes and Tove?"

"Aye" She says "It's just so...THERE. You know?"

"I heard her singing a love song while we were dropping stuff off at the house, right?"

"More sentimental than saucy, and, also oddly supportive of Jaymes to make him feel better. How is that lummox of an Unlce of mine missing the clues? If he doesn't do something, there's like four or six DeBuke lads who gladly will"

"Does Tove know that? That there's other guys looking? And...Jaymes kind of has a lot going on."

"I think she caught a hint, or two. She seems used to being admired by men. Not as much as Sally Mae mind you. Sally's a good lass, been helping me with make up and such. Then again, maybe I should ask Tiffany for help, because Vali was SO pretty"

Sylvi giggles, her skull make up crinkling around her eyes. "He was! She had fun doing that, I think."

"Ah, much as LI ke Vali, he deserves girl who likes taking a poke at him now and then. He'd never last with one that doesn't have a sense of humor" Then shifting back "But yeah, I know Jaymes has the house and wants to focus on Dagmar but Tove's...well, I like her. She likes Jaymes, he likes her. It just seems obvious to me that he ought to ask her out. But maybe I should leave match making to others"

"Tove is pretty, but not as pretty as Vali." A soft voice pops up - when did Connor come over?

"I..." Sylvi starts, then startles. "Oh! Oh, hi, Connor. Did you sleep okay?"

A shake of his head, and then a nod. "The sun came up twice today." A solemn nod - a cheery sunburst painted on one cheek.

Sylvi smiles. "That's a nice one." And she looks to the Elder who is still comfortably asleep.

Then to Siv she says, "I think we all see it...and I think Jaymes does, too. I'm betting they're together before I get back from Alaska."

"You have to be careful up there. It's filled with invisible bears." A solemn nod to Sylvi.

Smell of bacon and pancakes

Nose in the air, and his tail starts to wag.

"Invisible bears?"

"Uh-huh." Sniff, sniff...

Siv smiles, "Okay. I'll be patient" A smile, "Hi Connor. Not sure I gave my name" the sixteen year old says "I'm Siv."

Then she catches the scent as well. "Mmm...you go on in, Connor. My mom makes the BEST breakfasts."

"Actually, I'm betting it's Sally Mae at work. She said something about a shower and making breakfast? Still be good though"

"Oh, second-best, yup. We don't go hungry at Rivervale." Sylvi smiles proudly.

He doesn't need to be invited twice, and scrambles for the lodge - then doubles back, and pats Matthais gently on the cheek until the grump stirs. "Matti, it's bacons. And I made them all for you."

"But you're right. Mom and Dad usually sleep in a bit after Midsummer, if they can."

And, the two will go in to enjoy breakfast. (Whilst I go back to work, alas!)

Siv "with the way they sleep, I'm surpsied you don't have a younger sister or brother" Low mutter, amused

A blink at Siv, then a wince. "Things I didn't need to imagine, thanks."

"Happy Summer!" Sylvi greets the waking Elder as the two go inside.

"Me own summer I hope to visit Jessica. Maybe while you're in Alaska..

"Oh, that'll be cool. Well, cool for me, hot for you." She looks to see if Colton is returning.

Colton does return, fortuantley free of the belt, "I found some tools in the shed and... Siv, go ahead and laugh, if you choke on your face you'll hurt yourself."

Siv does, "haheh I'm sorry it's just you.... earlier. I tried so hard... and now that you're free and clear...snicker... I feel like it's okay to...snort"

Sylvi tries to remain serious for the sake of Colton's dignity....

Colton sighs and looks put upn for a moment, which makke make it all the more tempting to laugh, but Siv does die down with "Sorry, sorry.. I'm good now."

"Meanwhile, here I am...Princess Rugmonster of Death, the third."

Siv nods "Like I said, I realize I got off lucky""

"Well, as long as there weren't any ticks in that grass...."
