We realized they were unsticking the boat from some issue.

AH, for a moment I thought this was a situation where eggnog and cocktails reacted badly to motion 😉 Go on

They literally rocked their boat off of whatever, and off they went!! YAY!

And there we sat.

While the rest of the queue fixed itself behind us....

AND WE WERE OFF!

I'd told my crew for the night that I didn't do thrill rides, that the one drop on Pirates was a moment for me....

I SURVIVED!

But the splash DID get me soggy.

And...

(Before Pirates) The rest of the crew was going to ride Big Thunder Mountain. As we were walking over a new guy was telling me his last day at his previous role with the 🐭 🏦 was a customer service kind of role and the last day is tomorrow (today).

And he wasn't going to be even DOING the role, but training THREE other people to do it!

I said "No, not that you're not really doing your role... you're putting a button on your legacy by training three others to do the role."

He said "OH! I love that." Walking "Do you like musicals?"

My face....

"Yeah."

"Do you know any Sondheim?"
My face....
"Yeah!"

"Tomorrow I'm finishing the hat."

I LAUGHED....

So now I have a new bestie.....

The REALLY funny part?

Elizabeth Morton is the daughter of the fellow on the left, who played the Doctor, and married to the fellow on the right, who played the Doctor, and they met on an episode of Doctor Who called "The Doctor's Daughter" wherein she played the doctor's daughter.

So the Doctor's Daughter married the Doctor after playing the Doctor's Daughter.
