Oh, his mind thought about the things he might have tried to demand. Could the goblin steal away the voice from a sword? He had an alternate plan too, if the goblin HAD poured a drink. See, Korean tradition is that you must always pour for your elders. Symon was perfectly willing to hold onto the hat until the goblin managed to find someone older than an ancient mischief sprite that had been around for generations.
